Yep. Postal 2. No doubt. Pretty much end of topic lol :D
Nope i think it is BMX XxX for consoles, it was banned from a lot of stores in US for nudity content!!!!
i never heard of postal 2 until i saw like 1 screen ages ago on a crap forum.
GTA on the other had has been in just about every newspaper, news channel, pc game mag ever becuase it was so "evil"
SEXY BEACH 2!! i still wanna get that, just didn't find the time
Dungeons and Dragons. No doubt about it.
:ninja:
Grand Theft Auto 3, because all the mothers didnt like the whole GTA 1 + 2 thing but the graphics didnt show much, but when everyone heard of the new improved GTA 3 they all went nuts over it. So its obviously got to be GTA3
yea, there were parades of how inproper gta3 is. lol. they thought that fucking a whore, then when she leaves, u can kill here. they thought that was just too immoralQuote:

yep all the new GTA... funny how no one cared when it was on ps1
its not that bad but what about Duke NUKEM? :D
True crimes :streets of la id say the release date has been put back so many times still not out and mighnt not get relesed
It's got to be Kingpin. There was fucking outrage when it was released. I still remember politicians constantly wanking on about it, slating it and saying it should be banned. Nothing has caused that kind of reaction since.
Of all time...I'd probably agree with MagicNakor.
People have been bitchin about that shit for 20 years or more.
What you on about??? GTA1 was more hated in its time than GTA3 has been!Quote:

Video games:
Any of the GTA games
Hitman 1 & 2
Postal 2
Other games
Agreed about D&D... some folks just got too into the whole role playing thing....
There's also a small PC game called Drug Dealer. No graphics or anything, Gameplay is just making choices from menus and lists... the bottom line is profit or loss...
That reminds me.. theres also a card game called Grass... that's caused quite a stir too, as it simulates Marajuana dealers selling drugs and trying not to get busted.
I thought Postal 2, the people in the game look so, well, the producers know how to make "I want to be hit because I have a weird look" characters for the game.
I enjoy smacking ppl's head of with a spade, and that's what im good at  . Then I would fire piss of em.
I never completed the game because FPS, imo, are not worth completing. But I like to blow my manager's head off before he told me I was fired.
Postal 2 didn't look so much as a controversial game. GTA 3 and Vice City looked more controversial because of the attitude towards the players playing the game.
Mortal Kombat
GTA III
BMX XXX
These 3 games made it to the news when they were out
ThrillKill never made it to the stores except in the form of a toned down Wu-Tang Clan game.
Sort of off the subject but..
board game Ghettopoly (based on Monopoly) has some stores refusing to sell it.
definitely duke nukemQuote:

it's sick to play to watch those aliens fondle our women breasts and playing with their pussies and making them pregnant with little bastard aliens?
whoever wrote that game is sick...
Hoolligans Storm Over Europe.

yeah its not right to kill hookers after shagging them. its best just to let them leave.
didn't the first fsp:s (like wolfenstein3D, doom1 etc) get a lot of rant about them beeing pro-violence, pro-it's-ok-to-go-around-shootin-people-in-the-head
but I agree GTA3 is one of the "worst" ones
(not from my point of view :D )
When Hitman II Silent Assassin came out there were quite a few campaigns to ban it. I think some countries have banned it completely
Whats so controvesial about watching something that looks like it was made in the Stone Age.Quote:

if you haven't played Postal 2 GTA3 and BMX XXX. then dont try and argue and leave your vote out of it. i have played all of them and by far its Postal 2. it has been banned in more countries and the company cant even put commercials up about it and your cant find it in alot of stores like you can with GTA.
Thats funny, because I havent even heard of it, whereas I dont think any one who lives in a country that has electricity doesnt know about GTA1 to Vice City.Quote:

GTA3 had the most attention, GTA3 was up on alot of news stations, papers and bla bla bla, GTA3 was openly discussed by polatitions  so technically GTA3 is more controversial by the fact that it was noticed more and had more going against it.
Postal 2 was probably banned by the countries Censorship Guild and nothing more.
I just read some news that the relatives of some victims are sueing sony,take2 and rockstar games. Because some teenkids in the us played GTA3 and decided to take some of the action outside...shoting at cars with rifles they had stolen killin some people.
can any1 confirm it?? (I'm not from the us so I don't know how true this is)
that makes me cast my vote at GTA3

Hoolligans Storm Over Europe.
The game itself was very controversial when released in England.
I feel your maybe looking at it the same way i am, however i would say mortal kombat, was it not these two games that paved the way form the more controversial onesQuote:

Curiously GTA was the only game, i know of, debated about in the house of lords in the UK
I'm surprised that no-one has mentioned the most contraversial game of its time (and one of the most contraversial of all time) - Carmageddon.
Anyone else remember the backlash in the UK when that came out?
Otherwise - GTA, GTA3 and Vice City all deserve to have nominations. GTA got a lot of backlash from media like the Daily Mail. GTA3 got some as well, but not as much as GTA did at the time. And Vice City...well let's put it this way; I think the attention it got on news shows like BBC North-West Tonight became excellent publicity for it on the day of launch
EDIT: Forgot one - Special mentions have to go for State of Emergency. Not as good as others as a game, not as much contraversy as others but it got more than the average level for a game :D
What was that game about Larry trying to get laid on that ship?
It was something like:
'Larrys XXX' or something like that.
Now that was controversial.
Oh and yes of course, the prehistoric Carmaggedon.
Didn't you just love getting points for running over kids?
That would be
Leisure Suit Larry 7: Love for Sail!
played it years ago
I'd have to say GTA3 or Carmageddon, just for the public outcry alone.
