I noticed it is usual to have more than one private bittorrent tracker. Are you happy with your trackers and you have enough or do you need some trackers and trying to join them?

I noticed it is usual to have more than one private bittorrent tracker. Are you happy with your trackers and you have enough or do you need some trackers and trying to join them?
I am a member at all the sites that really matter. I'm not looking for anything specific I can't obtain at those places, though I can't say I won't join any more trackers, as curiosity killed the cat.
I probably have more trackers and accounts than I really need. Bit of a collector :blushing:
Thus I'm not looking for anything. Also, nowadays I don't sign up to a tracker unless it has something really promising or useful other sites I'm at do not.
I'm content, as well. None of the "new" trackers offer anything new, really. I'll just stick with whatever I have, till the trackers die, and I have to find new homes. Pessimistic? No, I'm actually optimistic considering I have hope that there will always be someplace else.
One comes to mind, but I'm in no hurry, to be honest. I'll get there when I get there.Quote:

I'm more than happy with the ones I have as I don't utilize most to the extent they deserve already.
I think of the ones that I don't belong to and have some interest in it's more curiosity about what they are like than real desire to be a member.
I would much rather have at least two of the trackers, which disappeared not too long ago, back :( Apart from that I'm quite content with where I am.
I think there is always curiosity, but unless you are a collector looking at his shiny list of favicons :sick: then you get to a point when you are pleased with the trackers you have because they suit you and your interests, and the urge to join others because of curiosity fades.
The ones that suit each person will be different but I am more than happy with the ones I am a part of.
I'm only still looking to join one tracker, and I have far too many as is. I don't really consider myself a collector though... I've turned down invites to some major e-peen boosters because I knew I'd never download anything there.
It really depends on how diverse you interests are and how paranoid you are of site closures.
I'm in 5 atm. I'm fairly satisfied. Might cut down 1 or 2 of them though.
All 5 of those accounts are at least 2 year old. Except for one actually, but my old acct was deleted for inactivity and resigned up recently.
I haven't joined a newbie tracker for quite some time. Last newbie tracker i checked was TVVault (?)...only b/c i heard Cinemageddon creators were behind it.
Only things I could really want are things I don't need. LIke sure I'd take FTN, or FSC, as I don't have an account there. But I do not need them as the sites I have probably have better torrents, these ones are just rarer.

Have everything to satisfy my needs. Although lately a few of my favourite trackers went down I still have all the trackers I ever wanted.
Turned down quite a few invites in the past since I knew I wouldn't use them and I didn't want to waste peoples invites to let my account die for inactivity.
Finding the right trackers is a process ... people new to BT have a tendency to want a shitload of trackers (I don't think I was an exception to that rule), but after a while you realise most trackers offer the same (not talking about specialised trackers) and from then on you just select the ones where you feel 'at home'.
As has been said previously... I'm happy with what I have. The trackers I'm a member of cover everything I'm looking for in terms of downloading. I have a few 'main' trackers which I use daily to find whatever I'm looking for, and as a 'safety net' I am a member of 2 or 3 more which I do still use, just not daily, and will continue to do so as there was a spate recently of some trackers going down and staying down.
As cliched as it sounds, I would prefer to actually be able to take part in the community/forums side of things more instead of solely tracker activity, but atm 'real life' has become WAY to busy for me and will be over next few weeks...
Hopefully things will calm down soon though and I'll be able to take better advantage of what I have just now :)
Definitely happy with what I'm already a member of. And besides checking out a site here and there that has been posted in the open signups thread, I'm not looking to join anywhere else.
I believe there isn't a single tracker out there that I'd like to join.
Although I'm open for suggestions to prove me wrong. :)

usually when I get into a tracker that has been on my wish list for awhile, seems more often then not I am disappointed. No matter how many times you hear just because its a high level site doesn't mean better you still want to see for yourself...oh well, the chase is still fun.

after reading the whole posts i'll tell my situation. as i said i used over 5 years warez sources but never joined a private trackers. i used ftp, direct download or some nzb sites. i read many posts now in this forum and i won't request after a short time of my membership. anyway i am searching 1-2 invites but mainly just one! i am not sure about the second tracker.

There was couple trackers on my wish list, I got into most of them only to be disappointed (of example ScienceHD, RevTT).
I wish I could go back to the days where I had only Demonoid, OiNK and TvT.com
But I can't say I'm not happy with what I have, the photography content that I've always dreamed of I've got them from BitSpyder & BitMe, some TV packs I've got from BitMeTV, some other Documentaries I've got from Docs.
So yeah, I'm pretty happy with what I have, I don't think there's any tracker I'd want to join
Why would you need Demonoid, GFT, RevTT, and TL thats 3 0-day sites and demonoid which has pretty much everything... so 4 sites offering similar if not the same content seems a little unnecessary to meQuote:
