Piston (originally named Pist*On) was a pretty good grunge metal band. skid row put out some decent stuff in the 90's, wildside, Jackyl, Lita Ford, ummmm....having a hard time remembering what era the bands were in :lol:

a band called nashville pussy is decent. I seen them live. Lead singer cant sing for shit, but the guitarists have serious talent! (And I mean besides watching them dyke-out on stage..they can really kill with an axe!) They got a heavier sound, so dunno if some of the younger crowd would listen to them on tape or CD, but definitely a good show *wolf grin*
Disturbed is pretty good. I liked their first album better than the second, tho. Some peeps like Creed (not my taste, really) Godsmack is decent
