What.CD has been a source in the past for many Scene releases, simply because of the massive community and the various resources available to its members, but is simply not the source for most pre-releases, and is very much at the mercy of the flow of Scene releases.Quote:

Buying in shop is a surprisingly reliable way of early music, do not underestimate it. You may go into your local HMV or Virgin Megastores or your local franchise equivalent, but you wont find early releases there... you need them independent music/media stores which have little problems selling cds or dvd early.
