I loved the classics - Fawlty Towers, Black Adder (Army Years), Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em etc.
I watched Fawlty Towers s01 and s02 last night and can't remember when I laughed so hard. (I loved s01 more than s02).
Suggestions?
Thanks

IT crowd.
That Mitchell and Webb Look & Peep show.
and Black Books too.
Monty Python's Flying Circus has a really strange kind of humour, that's why it's good.
IT Crowd is just crazy :)
Can't believe that no-one has yet mentioned Only Fools and Horses... arguably the funniest comedy ever to be broadcast on British TV. Spanned for over 20 years and even now still has those watching it in stitches, including myself, even though I must have seen them all countless times :)
I don't think you'd be disappointed...
Blackadder will always be my personal favorite. Rowan Atkinson was simply amazing as Edmund Blackadder. Another actor worth mentioning is Tony Robinson. He did a wonderful job as Baldrick, the servant. The funny thing is that both the master and the servant are equally dumb. I remember one line spoken by Blackadder which became very famous “when the going gets tough, the tough get under the table”. It is a pity that such historical sitcoms are not coming nowadays.
^ As he said ... blackadder FTW!
For some reason I only liked the Army Years and the Back and Forth Special of Blackadder
