Hi all,
I have been running uTorrent 1.8.5 for quite a while now and never had problems connecting to my trackers until recently. A lot of trackers now encourage uTorrent 2.0.x and some even disabled version 1.8.5 such as BTmusic.
I am contemplating switching to uTorrent 2.0.x and was just wondering if there are any trackers which ban this version?

m using the new version for quite a while know without problem, i think most trackers allow it know

All the trackers I use allow 2.0.2
I remember that when 2.0 was released some trackers blocked it due to the "uTP favoritism", but now I can't remember any site that disallows the 2.x branch.
As far as I know, P's said that 1.8.5 is allowed until a stable 2.0.1 is out; however no further announcements or updates were mentioned since then.
I think I Love Torrents still blocks 2.0. But other than that, I can't think of anything else?
TC did block 2.0 when it was brand new. Glad this retarded ban seems to be gone now.

They began blocking all uTorrent versions above 1.6.1 Build 490 after the "uT is sending your info to the MPAA" drama in 2007, and haven't looked back ever since.Quote:
