i have just finished downloading this but it is 5.8gb and i tried nero too big how do i shrink this down to 4.7 or do i need a bigger disc ie double sided

Yup, a DVDR-DL (double layer). Or just do like everyone else, keep the ISO stored in your HDD. :)
what is this skidrow of which you speak? that just the release group name, or a bonus?

It's usually bundled inside the disc image, in a folder called after the Scene group that released it, or "crack".

Skidrow has a fixed crack out if you haven't seen it
