yeh both serve a different purpose,and gft is the coolest ratioless tracker around imo
They are very different trackers. Neither are very impressive. I thought PTM had a much better userbase and more content for a ratioless tracker.
GFT ain't all that tbh - the leechers there are VERY low, especially for a ratioless tracker.
GFT is by far my least used tracker
this of course is MY opinion ;)

PTM is the best of the three trackers for most people: easiest to get into, similar releases and pretimes to GFT/FTN, and probably has the best retention of the three. (Disclaimer: I am not a member of FTN so I'm going by hearsay and could be wrong.)Quote:

PTN is a decent movie site that's always trying to improve and has very involved staff but it's heavy on the community aspect so if that doesn't interest you then there are maybe better places to look into.
If you are just looking to get into whichever tracker you think has the most cache then just forget about it entirely .

GFT wont be that hard to get in to since they switched way you are getting BONUS points. You are getting BONUS now ONLY for idling at IRC and not a single for seeding. In less then a month of idling You are getting enough points for one invite...
Ive lost my account on PTN coz I didnt use it. Never wanted to reactivate it since I didnt really need it (signed by open signup there).
As far as I know, PtN has never had open signups. I usually am not wrong in matters concerning PtN, as I have been quite involved with the site for a considerably long time.Quote:

GFT. Staff is awesome. Pre's rock. Did I mention ratio free? Yeah, GFT.
As was mentioned though, they are very different trackers. Kind of an apples and oranges thing.
