Is it just me or have movie trailers gotten a whole lot worse lately?

Seems to me that once even bad movies used to manage trailers that made you interested in unwisely seeing the film but now most trailers just seem to be a lot of disconnected , unexciting garbage that's leaves me thinking wtf?

Neither megabyteme, what I hate however is they reveal the WHOLE plot so it really doesn't entice you to see the film.

What is a move trailer? Is that the thing at the end of german tourists' cars that I see in the summer?

Btw I haven't noticed any changes. Prolly cause I haven't watched a lot of trailers lately. :P

Many movies are incomprehensible (Transformers 2) or just plain terrible (most rom-coms), so it's no surprise the trailers are as well.

Almost worse IMO, is the tendency to frontload the trailer with all the good stuff...Kick Ass comes to mind.
After seeing Hit Girl's big hallway fight scene in the trailer, I was expecting something even better in the film but no, that was it.

I haven't even seen the trailers for most of the films I've really liked lately (Winter's Bone, for instance), so I'm kinda out of the loop anyway.

What is a movie trailer anyway? Where do you download see them? Since I followed IdolEyes787's advice and eliminated all that annoying commercial interference, saved over $100+ each month & now I don't have to wrap the tinfoil around my head so tight to keep out the NSA mind control experts anymore.

I simply download share the relevant topics I want, but no movie trailers yet. I do miss my local news & weather though... but then again it hasn't rained here in weeks, so I guess I can live without that too. :(

(As an added bonus my frosty cold Beck's bottles are safe from inadvertent "Fast Forward" spillage. 'nuff said.) :alien:

The movie didn't do "well" in the box office, probably since they failed to reach their target demographic of 3 1/2 year olds with Down's. :idunno:

Geez how time flys. Before you know it your daughter will be lying to you about going to the library while in fact she's really going to be boinking some Latino gang member in the backseat of a Dodge minivan.
