A little Seedmybox.com review

My friend recommened me this seedbox service about a month ago. I purchased their Platinum VPS (from evoswitch, $40/month). The email I recieved showed various script I could use to install rtorrent/rutorrent, deluge, tranmission, ftp, mktorrent, and others. After receiving the VPS (which too about 4 hours to setup after payment), the script installed everything I wanted in less than 5 minutes. This is my friend's screenshot.

I was getting very good speeds as well. From the description, the are about 8 users on the Platinum VPS.

I used the support just once, because I was unable to install the irssi/rutorrent plugin. Frank, one of the support staff was very friendly and installed the irssi for me (within 2 hours of opening a ticket). Overall, I would recommend the seedbox.

Yes i have the same seedbox . I pay $25.99 / month and the speed are brilliant .... today i hit 70MB/s upload speed on SCC ;)

Also, $26/mo, fuck seedboxes are pretty expensive.

Seedboxes will become very cheap in the next couple months ;)

What time of price structure change?

so if you already have a seedbox will the monthly price go down as well ?

Normally no. Have you seen any server provider to change the price during the contract?

it's worth a try , i guess you can see the moth out the resign up with the provider if the price does go down

I have just signed up for a VPS from SMB, have not got it yet, but i know that it will be good and the guys will make sure it's set up correctly
If you dont know how to run the scripts you can just ask support to help you out, and they will

Yup, they helped out installing with me too. I'm a total linux noob!

IF you need help installing, just use autodl-irssi :)

I use their VPS diamond package... the speeds are amazing, same with the HDD. I use rutorrent/deluge to download and I can get 20-30mb/s constant. Sometimes I peaked at 100mb/s. Which was awesome.
