Hypothetically if someone is allowed to selectively open/close trade threads then it basically negates the "only 3 active threads" rule.:unsure:

When the trade is completed / abandoned, the thread must be closed.

We removed the part about keeping threads open 6 months ago. It was in the announcement before. Regarding the limit of 3 active threads, still fairly easy to spot them, threads recently bumped or not closed are both considered active and count as 1.
