this makes absolutely no fucking sense. i supported anonymous at first but their recent actions have been irresponsible and just plain stupid. not that i really care about facebook though. they dont understand anything about the issues they are protesting against. not that i pretend to know it all but, really? its not that the government is "spying" on us collecting intel. like anyone gives a shit about your personal lives anyway. there are very specific laws, rules, and regulations that only certain element of the government can collect on US citizens when it applies to their mission relating to national security. i cant stand these self indulgent pricks that think that they are so awesomely interesting and important and badass or whatever delusions they may have about themselves to think that hundreds of people in a dozen organizations have nothing better to do than spy on their facebook page. there is way more too it than that.Quote:

That link does "delete" your account instead of just deactivating it. It's what I used it when I killed my account after deciding I had nothing to do there. However, as it is the case with most major services on the Internet these days, it doesn't really remove your data from the server (or backups) for good.

Two things I find wrong with this statement; How is killing facebook "protecting freedom of information"? Seems to me to be just the opposite. Secondly. if anyone is that concerned about their privacy, they should refrain from posting personal shit on Facebook & all other social websites.
