From what I've heard from everyone else around here, it makes perfect sense.
I don't even use a block account, I'm AW only and it's been good to me.

Can you provide an example of a post that can't be downloaded from Astraweb? I only need one msg-id to find it.
What's the benefit of having a block account along with newsgroup access account like Astraweb ?
To help with completion, however like most have been suggesting in this thread astraweb doesn't have a problem with completion generally.Quote:

I'm not sure what client you're using, but in Newsleecher you would just set the US server to have a lower priority than you main server. Newsleecher will check your main server first, and if that fails it will go down the list of alternate servers (if you have more than one) in order of priority.Quote:
