Winnie the Biggles and the Blustery Day
The Office was shut this afternoon and peoples were sent home due to the weather (which I believe has been officially named Hurricane Bawbag).
Journey home was interesting - view trees in a different light when I'm driving under them anticipating sudden squidgy death
Went out and took a phoatie or two when I got home - sorry it is a bit blurred, the air was full of salt spray and everything was covered in it including the camera lens

Looks fine to me, unless that's a lake.

Re: Winnie the Biggles and the Blustery Day

T'is the Clyde and because it was a tad windy I took the phoatie from a the doorway of building - deciding on comfort over the most dramatic shot.

I think they were all chasing their brown paper bags which had become rather fetching kites sans string

Re: Winnie the Biggles and the Blustery Day
I'm taking three things from this thread:
Les knows how to phoatieshawp santa hats ;o
Fixing BBcode is a bridge too far, however.
No wonder Hadrian took one look and thought; 'fuck that'.
-
Re: Winnie the Biggles and the Blustery Day
No way does Les know how to do Santa hats. Fact.
Two outta three ain't bad.

Re: Winnie the Biggles and the Blustery Day
I should have recognised the barbster's fair hand.
-
Re: Winnie the Biggles and the Blustery Day
I didn't do that. Did I?
maybe I did in yonder years past...
-
Re: Winnie the Biggles and the Blustery Day
I must say it is quite a picturesque view you got there of the seaside Biggles.
Where exactly is this? Somewhere in the deep north, I would venture to guess.

Here is a pic in better weather. All I am allowed to say is that it is in the 'spam' belt of the north Ayrshire coast where the rich and famous stay.

In Scotland, then - that much has been established.

I hope he isn't - otherwise I am going even more senile than I thought.

I'm sure you're not aware of this because you're rather more tactful than that but back in the olden days, Boab posted pretending to be his son and said that we were all naughty boys and that we shouldn't take the piss because his dad was in the later stages of dementia.
It was subsequently proven to be pish and, as one might expect in these circumstances, hilarity ensued.

Yeah, he also accused JP of being a paedophile. Hilarity ensued.

Re: Winnie the Biggles and the Blustery Day
Yeah. What prompted such a bold statement?
I got accused of being a paedophile too.
Not by Boab, some merkin took exception to me thinking that the hawt ginger burd from tatu was hawt.
Edit: In retrospect, he might have a point because my missus was born in the same year as her. True story.

Something about a phoatie which had a spaghetti effect on Boab's Victorian neurons, I believe.

I remember it now.
Poorly designed Donald Duck kiddies ride ftw
-
Re: Winnie the Biggles and the Blustery Day
For me the summit of it all was always JP's 15 accounts and their inter-relationships.
-
Re: Winnie the Biggles and the Blustery Day
JPaul had other accounts?
