Phone connected through WiFi or data network? Have you tested those speeds first? I don't think there's a phone/network combination out there that will deliver 10 Mbps over the air, and 10 Mbps over WiFi are near the limits of most mobile hardware. I don't know, maybe that's changed now.
70 kbps makes me think you're using a poor phone network connection.
So many factors in teh equation......
Like I said before, get a speed testing app and make sure it's not just your hardware. To get a full range, try local servers, international servers and one that is in a similar location as your FTP service (whatever that is).
Cool ill try that out
Are you downloading to the SD card? It's not supposed to be so slow but if anything's messed up then it could be a potential cause.
The same as most people use on PCs: Speedtest
yeah using sd card, but i get good speeds when i download from website but through ftp seems to be capped.
Have you tried another FTP client?
Try this one: https://market.android.com/details?i...Ryb2lkLnBvcCJd
Can't seem to download only browse with that app
Ah I see that works but how do I measure speed there's no speed meter shown when transfer
Cool it seemed slower though, I used system panel to check net speed and was lower then when used andftp
