Bittorrent

I'm new to bittorrent how can i make my downloads speeds go faster than 5kb while im trying to download the matrix 3, im adsl internet connection.

Any help would be nice guys :)

should be in other p2p programs. You can't speed it up, depends on how many people are sharing (seeding) that file

i'm guessing that you're behind a router. i had this same problem. the problem is that some users are trying to make incoming connections using specific ports, but your router is blocking them. these ports are usually 6881-6889 and need to be redirected to the pc using bittorrent.

this explains it well and how to fix it

Well, at least he has to post the bittorrent questions in the right part of the forum. I believe that that&#39;s the "Other related p2p program discussions" and not "Movieworld". That way all the bittorrent questions stay together in one section and that&#39;s easier for other people who want to read about bittorrent.

what is it with people driving people to other forums, if you don&#39;t know a answer to the question, don&#39;t reply

and how is the help on one forum better/worse than on another one :blink:

just today someone asked about a bad download, guy had no clue as too the anwser(like you) but posted anyway and told the guy another website for him to post the same problem on, its was clear what the problem was, and no need to send him elseware, but I guess I&#39;m talking over your head

as far as being clam, if you think I&#39;m not, you should see me when I get mad, sometimes I post smilies like this :angry: :angry:

I use to have the same problem. Just leave your computer for 15mins and come back and the speeds will be way up. I don&#39;t use bitorrent anymore.....I now use IRC which seems a lot better.
