***NOTE*** You do not have to take the survey. Click the [red] bar, and it will take you to the game. ***NOTE***

Re: Fan-tastic advertisment
OK that was cool but I doubt if it encourages one person to buy their ice cream.
-
Re: Fan-tastic advertisment
I'm going to buy their ice cream. Gallons of it.

I didn't see any survey. Maybe my AdBlocker removed it. Apparently some people see a lot of adverts on the internets. Mine is mostly ad-free. NoScript and AdBlocker.

I haven't found that particular brand yet, but when I do, I expect to join these three after several gallons:

I use ABP, but do not run NoScript. I get stuff on occasion, but not enough to be a bother. I doubt the survey jumps up at everyone, but I went to the page not knowing what the advert was you were talking about. I filled in like 2 questions, and decided that probably wasn't what you were recommending. :)

Re: Fan-tastic advertisment
Overall, a very elaborate if not impressive ad campaign. I'd probably be influenced by watching people eating different ice cream bars and choosing the Magnum over Dove or whatever other ones there were... this doesn't do anything for me though.
Nobody posted their score?

There are different purposes to advertising campaigns. I assume this one was done more to build brand recognition than making instant sales. Since I'd never heard of the brand before, and now I've spent 5 minutes playing their game, I'd say they strongly placed the name in my memory. Often, that's not an easy thing to do.
Anyone else notice the other tie-ins? They obviously had some sponsors involved in the creation of such a project. Smart all around, IMO.
My score was like 16k, and it put me around 150th-ish place at the time.

Actually I forgot that I know it from abroad and from here in the U.S. Actually, it looks like they've only recently come here. Why couldn't the let me run Rachel Bilson around?

An example of fan-tastic advertisement that I ran into recently.

Which person is this.
Oh and ice cream is cool, I see what you did there.

Bile and spew in the same post.
No wonder Darthy doesn't post here much now, hate monger.
-
Re: Fan-tastic advertisment
Do you really want hate mongers posting much.
Oh wait, you do.
Sorry, carry on.
-
Re: Fan-tastic advertisment
Mais oui.
I'm trying to get the proud Americans back, too. Did you take them with you or something else.
-
Re: Fan-tastic advertisment
I married Billy Dean and we moved to a small croft on Islay.
We now have a cottage industry producing mentalism and heather honey.
I am living the dream.
-
Re: Fan-tastic advertisment
In other thoughts.
Proud American is tautological to Americans and oxymoronic to everyone else.
I think

It's nice that she's given you back the internets, at least for a short while. I never dreamed that Willemina would keep you under lock and key like this.
Always a pleasure to see your back.

Re: Fan-tastic advertisment
Does generalising about Americans equate to treating people from elsewhere as individuals then.
-
Re: Fan-tastic advertisment
So much better to receive than to give.

You're out of the loop, Cheerio boy.
Internet Americans now hate America. Hence my quest to find proud Americans.
Honestly, even Kev's got a life and got laid.
-
Re: Fan-tastic advertisment
I didn't even know there was a loop.
In fact I don't even understand Cheerio boy, that's how unlooped I am.
-
Re: Fan-tastic advertisment
No worries.
Fst is easier to get back into than a psycho-ex.
-
Re: Fan-tastic advertisment
What's worse.
A psycho-ex, or an ex-psycho.

I think all the proud Americans are waiting to become millionaires before they get their internet access back, but until then there are plenty of reality TV and news commentary show to pass the time.

An ex-psycho psycho-ex, who's still hot, we'll just refer to her as x. X thinks x is too good for you and will no longer permit the sex, that just sucks.

I could live with just sucking, what with my back and knees.

Re: Fan-tastic advertisment
FFS, Kev's back.
What are the chances of that.

My frow furrowed and my mouth shaped into a fixed line when I saw that apostrophe.
And also, I don't know what you mean.

I'm talking about number's.
-
Re: Fan-tastic advertisment
All aside, I meant 9's return.
-
Re: Fan-tastic advertisment
Yeah. I just don't like it. It's not the nine's brought and it's not as if it would be confusing if you wrote 9s.
I still don't know what you mean when you say '9s return'
-
Re: Fan-tastic advertisment
It's 9's return. And what don't you get Mary9?

that.
-
Re: Fan-tastic advertisment
I should have just edited it.
"9's return brought him back, alter ego?"
9s returns, then Kev returns. A correlation is implied. Is this what it's like dealing with me?
-
Re: Fan-tastic advertisment
I don't think kev could pull that level of ignorance off. Fact.
