Shareaza primarily, aside from that, the reluctantly used KL++. Shareaza has the content, I.C.H., GUI and more. KL++ has none of this with the exception of MP3s.

Used to be K-lite for me, but lately I've been using Shareaza mostly for sharing on the BitTorrent and G2 networks.

I like the idea of accessing multiple networks using a single client, much like Trillian does with the most popular messenger networks.

Why have 4 different programs when there's one that does the same thing? B)

Yeah but Trillians far from perfect. Their interface could use some work and their similie codes need to be fixed.

Even so, it still works. Maybe it isn't pretty or perfect, but it does the job okay, and that's what counts in my book. :)

At least the people i see there everyday 24/7 i can call friends by now.

sure m8 but have u been able to download from one person at nearly 60 kB/S as an example using another prog ? (except for maybe slsk )

edit : and we can ban and report ppl with child porn where as on other progs u cant do that

i can prob find stuff half the time on bt than i do on dc, without ops or noob nosing around in my shared folder, and still max out my connection every time!!! <_<

well when 1 user gives u your max speed then u cant download any faster or am i mistaken ?

and coming to privacy : if your sharing riaa stuff then dont be suprised if they find u one day , one could also use a proxy to mask his ip <_<

So true but it aint that good anymore when it comes to bigger files because of the speeds, thats way I also use other apps a lot.

Everyone has their favorite p2p program.
NO need to call names or anything like that.

Soulseek is personal, maybe slower, but you can talk to people there and make friends. Ask for stuff and chat at the same time.
I found amazing stuff there and some found stuff on me too. That's the way p2p should work you know?

It's not all about downloading from others and get the newest files and the biggest speed. Me and many on soulseek just leave their pc on 24/7 just to share and not downloading anything themselfes. (think about that for a sec!)

Soulseek is not just a program you turn on and off , it's a place to hang out and meet people!

We do that because we share and care...

but dont think eMule isnt some sort of a threat to k-lite... the eMule/Donkey community is gorwing... fast!!!

again: i use eMule for films and games, k-lite is used from me for music.

eMule is one of the best programmes for downloading verifieds through, and i dont see what your problem is with leaving the PC on overnight... (that refers to people with unlimited bradband connection :P)

i think we should all be greatful for the people that bring us the verified stuff!!!!!!
