delete the .exe and then burn the bin file
http://www.klboard.ath.cx/index.php?showtopic=56059
how do i delete the .exe
If you can see the extension ie maddennfl.bin.exe just hit F2 and delete the .exe
If you cant see the .exe ie maddennfl.bin but windows says its a exe file do the following: in tool bar click tools>folder options>view and then untick the box where it says hide extensions for known file types and apply. Then you should see the .exe and you should be able to delete it. :)
wut tools folder
in your explorer the menu bar
its 3 or 4 disc, so it must be a fake, cause its definitely NOT 1 bin
its cd 2Quote:

Well you are gong to need CD1 aswell.
As for your other question about windows explorer, you know when you click on my documents and see the folders and files there? That is windows explorer. So in that go to tools, folder options etc, as stated above. Rename the file as stated above then follow the link provided. You are gonna need CD2 though.

windows key + e brings up windows explore, if it is real and not curropt you will still have to get cd1
i did that and i hope it works
ok it didnt work it still says maddennfl2004.bin.exe
http://members.cox.net/dodger1954/thefinger.gif then you didn't do it right
and when i go 2 my shared floder and click on Madden NFL 2004 that black page still pops up and goes away and i found out wut it says in the black page it says
PROGRAM TOO BIG TO FIT IN MEMORY
if you finaily got it to show as a .bin file, you should run it through cdmage to correct any errors durning the download, and you still have to get the other disc BEFORE you can install/play and when you do get both and check for errors, then you can burn the disc or better yet mount them with daemon tools, andother tip try bittorrent you should get both without any courpution fast
