Demonoid tracker is back online but the site leave us with this http://www.demonoid.me/
Torrentfreak writes about it but I am still not sure it's an honetpot. I'm waiting to see if my login works and i any of my old torrents are indexed. How can you be sure?
Yeah it's called d2 and you can login.
I could get a torrent to work but it not as good as it was.

A lot of people put Demonoid down, but it was always my go-to tracker for programs and ebooks. Rarely was I unable to find what I was looking for there. I even uploaded there for a while. Over a TB of content actually ( & never one letter from any of the "AA's" or isp's) It's the only tracker I can say I have actually "missed" since it's been gone...and I've been in pretty much all of them :pinch:Quote:

Well, this is not the first time for d2. Didn't they appear some time in 2012? Back then I did re-log in for the heck of it.
There wasn't anything in the way of torrents. Then I heard a few days later that it was a password trap. But hey
I don't really do torrents anymore. I was using the old Demoind more as a resources site. Too bad about its demise.
I always assume the trackers are compromised, the RIAA has been doing that for years
How can you tell if it's a trap?
kickass.to has effectively replaced DemonoiD for me. Sure I would welcome it back, but I can live with out too

I used Demonoid a lot also and would maybe try it out again for a few downloads to see if it is the same 'site' as previously. I be looking for some other observations to its operation once up.
