Just wondering what films everyone is looking forward to this year
Robocop love that movie hope the remake stays true to the series
American Hustle looks promising! Also, Wolf of Wall Street and Transcendence would be top picks. Oh, and the new X-Men.
X-Men: Days of Future Past
A film cannot be a "favorite" if you haven't seen it yet.
Of course none of this actually matters to you as you are just spamming so you be able to download NZBs just like the other people in this thread.
And one wonders why I hate the internet.
American Hustl
Robocop remake!
Waiting for new captain america and at the other end of the year, waiting for the 3rd part (for some reason a small book was split into 3 movies) of the hobbit.
Dumb and Dumber To
Random Order:
X-Men: Days of Future Past
Captian America
Amazing Spiderman 2
Godzilla
Expandables
Robocop
Jack Ryan.. great action film..
Looking forward to the Edge Of Tomorrow.....
Looking forward to "300: Rise of an Empire"
I honestly wouldn't even care about all the fluff posts if any of the people making them made even minimal effort to actually follow up on things they posted.
Sadly not the case though as it's abundantly apparent that most a) Don't bother to read anything in a thread beyond the title b) have zero intention of ever posting again
Anyway I know I have said it before and probably will say it again but fuck the fuck off you useless, stupid, self-serving,self involved wanks. :)
PS Fuck off.
300: Rise of an Empire (2014) is cool. Trailer and details here
I'm looking forward to Interstellar!
the wolf of wallstreet
Captain America: Winter Soldier is tops on my list right now.
Intersellar
All You Need Is Kill. Which I just found out was retitled, Edge of Tomorrow. Lame. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1631867/ I like that Cruise still does genre pics, and I'm a sucker for the whole Groundhog day causality trope.
Snowpiercer http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1706620/ Region B bluray hits in April. Who knows when Weinstein will bother with a stateside theatrical release.
gota be the hobbit for me
transformers 4 all the way
For the briefest moment I believed the fourth installment would redeem itself by not having Shia LaBeouf, as I can't watch anything with him in it without being reminded how much of a giant tool he is for not only plagiarizing an entire script but also plagiarizing his apology when he got caught.
Then I realized they replaced him with possibly an even bigger tool in the form of Mark Wahlberg, who was addicted to cocaine at the age of 13, threw rocks and yelled racial slurs at African Americans, and on two separate occasions beat a vietnamese man with a stick, knocking one unconscious and permanentky blinding the other in one eye. He then took it upon himself to "forgive himself" for what he had done without making amends to the victims in question.
You could say to watch the movies for the plot rather than for the actors, but then again I doubt Transformers will have much of that either.

my personal favourites of last months: American Hustle (2013) (would rate 7.5 from 10), Divergent (2014) (would rate 6.0 from 10, but it's ok to watch), Need for Speed (2014) (would rate 6.5 from 10, but i like racing movies so it was for me fine to watch it) and I, Frankenstein (2014) (would rate it 6.5 from 10: the movie has rather good special effect, the story I didn't liked, but such movies you watch once and forget the next day)
That would be looking backward,wank.
Honestly I would ask that someone kill me but I'm too afraid that Hell is a lot like this.
I,Frankenstein. No,seriously.:unsure:http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/i_frankenstein/
You my good sir,are well and truly an idiot. :)
On that rec, walking downstairs to watch Snowpiercer right now.
I'm curious to hear what you have to say about it. My gf better articulated the particular aesthetic as: "dystopian whimsy/grim Wes Anderson." Hipster bitch.
I wonder how something ostensibly oddball like Guardians of the Galaxy gets a huge ass summer blockbuster release & promotion while this is relegated to a couple art house venues. *shrugs*
The powers that be have to keep this sort of film out of the eyes of the masses or else people would begin to see the injustice, dehumanization, and emptiness of the system, man. :whistling
Actually, I enjoyed it quite a bit. I did not give it any analytic thought until I was through with it, which did make me realize I had seen most every idea used in other films- just not so many of those elements mixed together. I enjoyed that there were more than a couple "surprises" and that we weren't limited to a single moment of wow-ishness.
Spoiler: Show
A short and annoying primer on the business of show.
Business is like a greedy child. It wants everything yet craves stability and fears the unknown. It would rather grow comfortably fat on junk food than momentarily suffer eating broccoli even if it knows that it will be the better for eating the broccoli.
Apparently Meg is also show business.
PS Also there's the Jew's to consider.
Transformers and X-Men
GODZILLA
...meets Heisenberg
yes... I grew up with the movies and I love the roar... but don't use it as a ring tone... some people get annoyed.

Kewl.... Now I'm curious.... I'll check it out
The director had a career as a visual effects person:ermm: , the guy who wrote the script has zero experience and the man who wrote the story is responsible for The Expendables and the atrocity that is the movie version of Doom.
If you are banking on the cast somehow saving it then I should point out that before hitting with Argo,Cranston starred in John Carter,Red Tails, the Total Recall remake and Rock of Ages.
Yeah, this will be real good.
