whats the best videogame of all time?
Oi Chalice! Batter up.
I, too, enjoy seeing an uber-predator toy with, then consume at leisure, a small, defenseless, rock-dweller or naively brave rodent. Kind of like watching old Nat Geographic programs on Christmas day.
Nothing to bat here. This fucking misappropriation of atoms can't even recall starting the thread by now.
Another fleeting spastic. A raindrop in the recent monsoon of morons. It's like waiting for a special bus. You wait around for hours and then two or three hundred eyebrow-lickers turn up at once.
xenogears
zelda. man pigeon
And welcome to this edition of the spastic olympics. Here we will find windowlickers furiously making lists for no apparent reason.....
Come on 'tards you know you want to....
:frusty:
The best game of all? n00b baiting? Tard culling?
If it stops this influx of useless posts, I'll back it.
kung fu master

battlefield 2 :)
Monkey Island series.
So many...
(C64)
Commando
Gribbleys day out (yes I spell it my way for avatar ;))
Uridium
Paradroid
(Get the idea I like Bradbrook... Alley kat sucked however and I still have the box for that stinker somewhere)
Amiga days
IK+
Monkey Island(s) etc really, loved all those point click ones
Speedball 2
Xenon 2 (think that is correct... crystal presents, a bitmap brothers game ;))
Rick dangerous 2 (I think it was 2)
So not a serious thread I know but nice to fade into the past when times were good and VAT wasn`t 20%
Just though of more...
Monty on the run (C64)
Bounder
Re-Bounder (a follow up but good for once)
think those were Amiga days as well
PC days
Redalert - How could I forget that (many happy work hours burnt on that... Only worked with IPX/SPX, happy Novell days)!
Amiga days again, gravity power/gravity force II (same really). I can host a server if anyone fancies a game via FS-UAE :)
i've been playing state of decay a lot recently lyke, i don't know if i'd class my self as a gheymar. i've only just got an xbox 360 and the gheymes look like real life to me, and i've only had it for three weeks or so but State of Decay is just fucking amazing and definitely up there in my top 5. i think you can't buy it in shops lyke, download only?
last night i spent two hours making supply runs for building materials and recruiting survivors for my group so i can go two towns over, moving my base to a better location. and by doing this i managed to kill the guy i've played as from the start of it all, and got switched to someone else in my group. but when it happened they all started talking about the dead guy in past tense which just seemed really fucking epic. if i were capable of emotion i would have emoted.
its like the walking dead if they did a good open world type gheyme, i've already talked two people in t'office into buying it and they concur its super cool fun time number one :smilie4:
Someone must still remember Gravity force II and want a game! I setup a VM just to host the python/webby bit for FS-UAE so please someone bring it on, for I hope a beating.
BINGO - PM me for details of server and arrange a match date :)
*If you don`t get the Bingo bit you ain`t played it.... but as long as you can use that keyboard and can install the game I`ll take yer on :)
Still think it's the Half life series. dat feeling when it's dark and a headcrab jumps at you.
Xenogears and Xenosaga 1 - 3. I still feel like they should have finished the series.
Star Flight by Binary Systems (bought out by EA decades ago)
Followed closely by Star Control 2
uplink. end of discussion.
Quake!! Great game!
Galaga....
Without a doubt, Minesweeper. Well, that and Solitaire. These two are the most played games of all times, which is probably why this world is in such dire straits. If only those who played these games actually did the job they were paid for, instead of spending eight hours skyving, we'd have a more prosperous world.
Actually, the best game of all is called 'Invasion', and Bush played it for real when he invaded Afghanistan and Iraq. Now, that is real role playing on a global scale.
Had a google on that as never seen it, are we talking space invaders? Colecovision is going back before my time... Although we did have a binatone console pong thing I remember as kid but it sucked so wouldn't call that as a classic :D
Metal Slug (neo=geo emulated)!!! my latest choice of a great classic. I have so many... thing on a spring... newzealand story.... happy days
Game 3 of the 1951 National League playoff between the Giants and the Dodgers.
Ffs nobody has mentioned Flappy Bird yet. What is wrong with you people!
I used to know quite a few ladies who were on the game. They seemed to enjoy it, as I recall, as did the guys that helped them.
Max Payne (the first one)
Every game has it's flaws, it's just the fond memory that made them shine!
i play a pretty mean skin flute :smilie4:
I vote for "The Last of Us" for the best game I have ever played.
I actually think it would be great to play The Most Dangerous Game with some of the more dimwitted participants in this thread asunwilling participants.......
Those who vote are high on the list. :yup:
Seriously though, everyone has just been saying this or that game is great with out actually showing anyone why it is a great game......

Now I mean isn't that freakin' awesome!!!!
I KNOW why Saints Row the Third is a great game. :yup:
