hi im new here and ive please have a queston how can u tell a good toorent from a bad one i have looked for a good toorents for the new tmnt movie and Guardians of the Galaxy all i got were big files and fakes if anyone knows if a good toorent copy has leeked and can be downloaded online please pm me or post here and let me know.

This site will help you determine if a "scene" group has released something. http://www.nfohump.com/
There are P2P groups (individuals and small independent uploaders/CAMers) which make shows available to specific sites that are not listed there.
Usually, most shows that are within the first couple/few weeks of box office opening will be of poor quality. Do not waste your bandwidth grabbing anything that makes unreasonably early claims without verifying from others who have downloaded the file already.
Demonoid would be a good first tracker to have. After that, there is potential for you to ask around here for invite(s) to private sites. Do not feel you need to get in to anything "rare" as most sites all have pretty much the same files anyway. Private sites almost never have fake files.
EDIT- BTW, there are no copies of TMNT (2014) uploaded yet.

A good idea would be reading the comments for that particular torrent. Also, if something is inside one big RAR, requires you to fetch a password and/or do a survey, assume it's fake and move on.
Vertor.eu and kickass.to are largely fake-free.

It's got to be pretty confusing for someone new to this. See something like Expendables show up, and think that's how it is or will always be. Based on strictly anecdotal evidence you typically won't see cams show up til at least 3-5 days after the international premiere. Certainly without LINE audio or anything polished. Now having just said that, somebody will go and post a TS of Guardians and make me eat those words.
