Re: I thought they just paid cash
Two fluffs in a van driving the countryside looking for antiques. There's definitely some tossing going on along the way. :ghey:
Re: I thought they just paid cash
Computer type people making fun of other professions is like crossfitters making fun of other sports.
I suppose it's possible but it's still a dangerous amount of irony to play with.

Re: I thought they just paid cash
I like all those merkin programs on Discovery channel where it's fat guys doing up muscle cars, Gas Monkeys is a good one and the spin-off Misfit Garage and there's another one called something else :eyebrows: I don't know anything about cars, I have a license and have owned cars like but I don't know about the sorcery that makes them work. But merkin muscle cars are sexy like sexy ladies.
Re: I thought they just paid cash
Merkin muscle motors are the new merkin mental motorbikes on tv.
Fact.
There's even one where a wrestler tells people to get rid of hundreds of old scrappers and he then makes one of them into a decent car. He always loses money though and has to wrassle one last time just to pay the bills. It's not even a wee bit contrived like.

Gas Monkeys is the tits. It's my gym watching show of choice.
Re: I thought they just paid cash
Misfit Garage > Gas Monkeys
Ewe still playing gta? I went on yesterday for the first time in ages, you can take the slamvan into bennys now :smilie4:
Re: I thought they just paid cash
Misfits Garage is more about the cars, man. Fast 'n' Loud has become too commercialised.
Re: I thought they just paid cash
Do they have anything in their civilization that's old enough and interesting enough to be considered a relic.
Re: I thought they just paid cash
The car they were doing up in the last episode had rust on it :smilie4:

Loads of stuff, the indigenous population were making stuff for ages before the "settlers" arrived.
They themselves brought loads of stuff from their own cultures.
Things which are actually merkin, there must be some which is literally years old. Plastic lasts for ages.

Re: I thought they just paid cash
I have sky Nowtv, I pay monies for it :ghey:
It's got the discovery channel and every series they put up on it is always not the first season and they only ever show 6 episodes of something. I have to believe there's more than six episodes of everything fat guy/muscle car related, and that they had a season before season 2, Shirley :eyebrows:
I watched one t'other day that was a one off special (or so they'd have me believe) and it was a fella from zz top who wanted a custom car making. They guy was an absolute nob and the car looked shit. True story.
Re: I thought they just paid cash
I think Jimmy Shine is a real custom car builder, aside from his TV stuff.

Chip Foose is another one who actually does cars, and also does TV stuffs. He is the "Overhaulin guy"

I stopped playing after I got my ultrawide monitor because I was going to need to turn the graphics down from an already low setting. I have a GTX760 ffs. That and the hackers messing up every single session. :fist:
I've gone back to playing BF3 quite a bit. I tried GTA V again last week and I just couldn't get in to it again.
Re: I thought they just paid cash
Ultra wide monitor you say.
Is that curved at all, if not do the edges of the screen look distorted.
Re: I thought they just paid cash
Curved. I have the 34" LG 34UC97-S. I'm not sure how I feel about it just yet.
