Easy really, you get the pics you want and cut them together.........
This one is a combination of 3 pics........
http://hometown.aol.co.uk/Cjcooljonno/jnhijack_85.jpg
This one is a combination of 5 pics........
http://hometown.aol.co.uk/Cjcooljonno/jnmat005_60.jpg
Just find the background pic, then the pic you wanna put ontop, use the lassoo to cut it, then paste it on, blur the edge softly and hey presto...........there are also colour stuff to learn, but mast the cutting for now ;) :)
Jonno B)
ok i got a backgorund how do i enlarge it?
Top left hand screen.......
Image
Image Size
Choose your size, click ok :)
Tip, if you resize and its wrong, do NOT continue to resize, click edit the "Step Backwards", the more times you resize the less the quality is :)

is all i could come up with
this is really starting to piss me off ffs
Whats pissing you off??............You got a top Editing prog and expect to just be good at it??............It takes a lot of pratice and fiddling to be able to do a good pic, those I posted above only took about 10 mins each, if I spend a good hour I can make pretty much any pic look real, but you have to be patient, :)
So whats the prob you having now? :)

using lasso makes it look too messyQuote:

and how do i copy it onto the main pic
cos when i ctrl c and v it
it just places it randomly on the pic as u can see from above
how do i do it so it copies extactly where i want it
also after ive done all that
how do i do the writing thing like it says scribblec in my sig how is that done?
Once you have pasted it on, there is an "Arrow" at the top right above the lassoo, then click hold and drag where you want it :)
To do text you have to clcik on the "T" then to find the one you want is just a matter of fiddling :)
It's really hard to explain this in text so I hope this is helping
Jonno B)
nope your doing a good job m8 :D
ok ive selected it moved it now how do i paste it therei just see an outline how do i make it so i see the pic there and so i finalise it so it dont move either
 You should'nt have a line..........
Ok.......
The pic you want to cut something off........
Lassoo.....
Cut round it......You have flashing dotted line
Edit......Copy
Click the Background pic to highlight it
Edit.......Paste
Arrow.......Place the cut where you want it......
File
Save as..

If JONNO freaks out, there are litterally thousands of PhotShop tuts out there. They are free and online too. Thats how i learned.

Scrib, calm down dude B)
Just think, I spent weeks learning how to use it, have been using it for 6 months and still don't know it all :)
I have no idea what you have done, you should cut the pic you want, paste it on your background, click the arrow, click and hold and move it to where you want it, then let go it will stay there, then save it.............
Not being funny Scrib but to be honest it sounds to me like you have little or no experience of photo editing, in which case I suggest you start a little lower down the ladder, say with Paint, or Paint shop Pro, you have a very technical prog with Photoshop, it's used by top editors for mags and newspapers so you're kinda jumping in the deepend wrapped in lead and hoping to float
I'll help all I can but you seem to be doing something different to what I'm telling you
Jonno B)
[email protected] freak out.........very soon  ;)
I agree with UKman, the best way to learn is to spend time exploring the prog :)
no he said computers and this is paintshop thingy which is different
also i do that
ok i have my transparent background
then i have my eminem image
i lasso the bit i want
theres this flashing outline thing
i go edit cop
then click on background edit paste
and it just gets stuck there
i cant move it or do shit
!!!
edit : im off before i break my comp
I'm sorry Scrib, I have no idea what you're doing wrong, I just went to check myself
Blank Back
Cut
Copy
Paste
Move
No problem at all so what the hell are you doing??
I'm off in a mo and I see you've gone but when you read this just try again and write down and post each and every move you make from the start ok :)
Then maybe I can help, but as it is I'm flying blind m8
Jonno B)
adjust noise, blur, levels, and lighting to make the images look like they are actually part of the same picture.Quote:

When you have copied and then pasted the image onto your background - use the tools i have mentioned below. Make sure you have the layer selected first otherwise it wont move to where you want it to. Then use the "eraser" tool to refine the edges......

It's very good to see you learning this, scribblec. Good for you! http://www.mcbriens.net/liam/img/smilies/thmbup.gif
Doing stuff like that scribblec is far from easy, especially in Photoshop, and when it start's making you want to rip your hair out (unless your bald in which case that would be "gouge your eyes out" lol) the best thing you can do, as you found out, is to save what you've done so far and take a breather for 5 or 10 minutes to clear your mind :)
So far though you're picking it up great and coming up with results that some people take week's to get :) (I'd imagine Jonno and UKMan's help is alot to do with that :))
Personaly I use Paint and Paintshop Pro whenever I want to do something like that, take's a bit longer (due to the edge editing in Paint being painstakingly slow) but the result's are worth it :)
Best of luck with learning to be a pro at it :)
Sniper.
good job scribble, you did better than i did (i dumped photoshop and down graded to paintshop pro! ) now just get your hands on some kickass fonts and
xara 3d (which i could help you with) :P and youre set
best way is to go to some design school pay them 400 dollars and take a course, it's well worth it
where can i download additional cool fonts?
now, how the fuck do you use this AutoCAD? I wanna make some schematics NOW, dammit! Somebody walk me through this...

UKMan - never did try CAD
Photoshop is one of the best programs available, its not the program, its you ;)
a very small drop shadow will help text stand out a bit better too, scribble.
select the layer, & add a layer style.
Fireworks is also good for manipulating images.
chemical, electrical or mechanical?Quote:

It's a wiring layout for a video post-production facility (I'm at work right now). Actually, I'm having a pretty easy time of it. AutoCAD 2004 LT is a lot more intuitive than the 2003 version, I think.
Then it should be pretty straight forward. Try searching for a good tutorial online on google.
It comes more from practice and reading. Its hard to explain someone how to use it. Being complex than usual photoshop :P
You can try the tutorials, they are really helpful sometimes. :)
I use Design Architect (Mentor Graphics) for my electrical designs.
Google would be the way to go.
