They'd been struggling for donations for a few months, and it seems not even removing ratios and opening signups were able to save them.

Thank you to all the past and present staff at SCC. I wish you well.

Man what a loss. One of the best sites, gone. Seems most of my favorite sites have disappeared over the years, FTN, SCT, TB, and now SCC. =/

I cant say this came as much of a shock. Their staff were pretty bad. Bad choices too, like removing the free leech archive except for donors, that lost them a lot of users. It was just a matter of time before they closed.

Removing the free leech archive was the worst move imo.

There is always torrentleech and filelist. If those close it will be a big shock
