if its a avi you downloaded, it will fit on 1 cd, no cutting required
hehe thats not true i downloaded Rocky and it was 724 Meg and i could not fit it on 1 DISK :P and i also downloaded starwars return of teh jedi and it wa slike 717 meg and that cant fit on 1 disk :P U LIED!! :rolleyes:Quote:

I fit just over over 800mb's on standard 700mb cdr's all the time, your confused :lol:

Or try to compress it with Media Raider.
there are 2 types of modes on a cd
mode1 is a data mode you can fit about 720 megs on it but there is also about 100 megs used for data correction that is put on the end of the cd. this is used for software since if the cd gets scratched it will still work.
mode2 is a video mode. it can fit 800 megs on a disc since mpeg already has error correction built in so that 100 megs on the end is not needed so you can use it for data.
since avi falls into the data vareity you will need to burn it as mode1. you can overburn the discs to about 720 megs if you look through nero's options.

I have never herd of a downloaded avi that wouldn't fit
they make them the size they do so they can fit on 1 cd
download Aliens..... the good version is 980mb....does that fit too? :lol:
