The first guy is a jerk. Bike paths aren't there just so you can go as fast regardless of other traffic or your desire to spoil the day for other people. Sometimes you just need to roll with the punches. If you want to race join a club ride or go to a velodrome. Either way you are hardly Geraint Thomas, tough guy. :ghey:

I'm a commute cyclist and the number of cyclists who ignore the Highway Code is appalling. My main angst is with cyclists who do not stop at red lights!!!

Bikes belong on the sidewalk. They can ding their thumb-bells if they need to get past pedestrians.
Generally municipalities restrict use of the sidewalk to bicycles with tires 24" or less. 'Cause kids or maybe midgets. I'm afraid just being a fat pussy isn't a valid excuse, Meg.
