I've seen worse.

Just stopped to use the facilities...

The 701 through Toronto use to be the widest road in the World. Don't know if that's still true.
Kiefer Sutherland
Actually Kiefer was born in England and raised in California until he was a teen but I did like him in that thing where he went around torturing people. You know, his acting.
If I had to pick the quintessential Canadian actor it would probably be Gordon Pinsent. For author it would be a toss up between Farley Mowat and Pierre Burton. Margaret Atwood is both more well known and more successful but her books don't speak to the soul of the country. There's also Lucy Maud Montgomery but that's kind of ancient history. For music , Lightfoot is probably the best representation of the country he's from. For athletics, Gretzky is too Americanized so Gordie Howe or Bobby Orr. On the whole though Team Canada from the original Soviet series.
Anne Murry vs Gordon Lightfoot??
Margaret Atwood??
Bobby Orr's parents/siblings still live in Canada;)
I never watched 24, so I know him mostly for keeping Colin Farrell hostage inside a phone booth. Oh, and also for being a murderous pedophile rapist.

I like to add my experiences and impressions of Canada. Damn fine country.
As fine Canadian (West coaster), I second that!
Despite all the love for Gordon Lightfoot displayed in this thread, it seems I have yet to post this.

While I'm at it, RIP to one of the TRUE rock Gods, Neil Peart, the best fucking drummer who ever lived.

Music is more than just technical mastery. That said, rankings are always going to be part objective and part subjective so as long as both drummers are appreciated for their talent and the joy they brought to people then I'm more or less fine with whatever.
Idol: Your comments of rating the best drummers is interesting, really if you think about it Buddy Rich by far would be considered one of the best drummers of all time, yet Bonham i would think second, and the reason is for innovation, and understanding drumming...
Now Neil Peart (A great loss and rest his soul )yes being a great drummer for sure is not really considered a drummer per say, but a percussionists;)
Funny when you look at it and see Peart mimic really one of the greatest drummers of all time even live in concert his solo also:D

Bonham's kid is not his dad but still not bad..
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PD-MdiUm1_Y
You could even go as far as saying Chester Thompson is one of the best in the world, but really who is the innovator;)

Again just my opinion
Speaking of percussion, legend has it that the entire band was high as fuck on LSD.

Poutine!!!!!!!!
If you take three foods(fries, cheese curds and gravy) that already exist and just mix them together did you actually invent something or are you more or less just cleaning off your plate?
