Man i sew today the ultimate leecher in the world get this :
User Name : dontdownloadfromme@kaZaA
Speed : 30-100 Kb/s (i download from him a file, in the traffic i was in "Searching", when i found him)
And He cancel me d/l every time again & again !!!!
The million $ question shode i post his IP ?
And i have his IP ...

if he didnt want you to download from him ,.why didnt he simply mark the DONT SHARE FILES in the option menu?

Again, you wanna post IP's post IP's of people who have child pornography. This whole "let's get the leechers" crap is really starting to get on my nerves to tell you the truth.
What a safe and easy subject to get pissed at huh? And yet how many files have you moused over that had titles related to child pornography?
Dude, c'mon, it isn't that bad. Yes they may leech and no it isn't right, but that IS their right not to share, or the option wouldn't even be IN kazaa or k-lite not to share. And remember, we are all trading in copyrighted material, so casting stones should not be so easy.
Use your talents for a better cause than this, please. Trust me, this is a waste of time dude.

Dude I really do understand how lame leeching is!
Just that it won't stop and you can't blame those people bacause kazaa gave them the option to not share. All you have to do is click the box that says "disable sharing", so again, the problem is kazaa (sharman) and not the leechers.
It's like handing out masks and guns to bank robbers.
I certainly would NOT post the IP just for leeching, I think it is a really bad idea, I can't say that enough.

We all have leeched at some time or another and i know you are targetting users with fast speeds leeching and that really sucks....
I am on 56k dialup with only 20 gig hard drive but i share and it dont bother me if peeps leech..i really cant be arsed checking them all the time...
leechers suck ass, but what can you do. yesterday the first five people to download from me didn't have more than a couple of dozen files between them, and most of those were crap or mp3's with unknown for the artists name. TOSSERS.

Kazaa "disable sharing" is for 56K from my point of view (like TBO) not 4 us adsl,cable, and up ...
I really can't agree with that, I mean how on earth did you come up with that analogy? When all's said and done anyone dowloading anything (music, videos etc) can be classed as thieves since they aren't paying for it.Quote:

There are plenty of legitimate reasons why he kept cancelling your upload. That doesn't mean he's a leecher.
When I download a movie I have to close everything to watch it and when I've watched it I delete it. Why? because my computer sucks basically, I cant have downloads or uploads going on when Im watching a movie because I end up with the picture and sound out of sync, and I delete it because there's not enough space on my hard drive to keep them unfortunately.
Besides Im sure there are plenty of other people out there who have a particular file, just look. And no you shouldn't just post people's IP's. Can understand people getting pissed with leeches though....the solution??Its now possible to set up your own network that runs independently of fasttrack so you could set up a sharers only network with no LEECHES :D

Do we have a problem with file availability.....NO....so stop complaining about leechers, its getting quite old :(
modem connections aren't expected to share
better connections are expected to share
it's your choice if you want to or not, and we all have our reasons....slow computer...low bandwidth...etc.
in the kazaa community its a free world and it should stay that way
A person who shares just helps the community with more available files
I can see complaining if we all are not able to get or find what we want....but we have no problems...the availability is through the roof
Let the leech complaining rest its a lost cause, it shouldn't bother you really, especially if you have a fast connection. If you have a slow connection and it bothers you, then just disable sharing when you don't want to share (for whatever reason)
Hopefully the leechers with good connections will eventually share ....but again ...Lets keep the kazaa community where its currently at: Freedom to choose :)

What does posting IPs from People sharing Childporn helps ? Nothing ! Does it give you the feeling to have something done against Childporn ? You post IPs from people sharing that shit without date/time etc. ... thats very useless. If you find someone with much of that stuff please make some proof screens etc. note the IP + date / time and report him to the police and don't post it here on the forum.

I wonder about you guys sometimes. There is a HUGE difference between people who have child pornography on the HD and people who may or may not be sharing.

Yep, I'll leave it at that, but again, many times people who appear to not be sharing actually are and that would be a completley arbitrary decision to "go after" somebody who may be sharing all along.
If you had such a problem with what I am doing, I wish you would have pm'ed me instead of taking me to task here in the forums VB.

why don't you start. so 40 % of 4 million users don't share so thats gona be one long bloody list. especially with dynamic ip addies.
so you wanna no problem but lets work it out.
(4,000,000 / 100)* 40 = 1,600,000 so there is that many leechers. now each ip is 15 digits long(with full stops)
so 1,600,000 * 15 = 24,000,000 bytes of info bits of info
24,000,000 /1024 = 23437.5 bytes.
that means the list would be 24 gigs big :lol:
you better get going it might take a while. :lol:
Did anyone ever think that the guy just may have had all his upload slots full it would still act like it is trying to connect to him and then stop.
