i would be cautous.... but otherwise i would try them, i mean it sounds to good to be true, but if they are really cheating you then at least you aren't (at least i am assuming since you are posting on this forum) a complete idiots that can't check it out when you get it to see if it is really working etc... check to make sure they have a return policy... (ujust in case) if they don't abide to that policy then you can get a lawsuit gtoing... (for allot more then the worth of that labtop...)
you know what kind of world is this where we discus wether this site is real, i say go for it, i think im gonna because ive been looking for a cheap laptop and if they refuse to return it, im a minor, 15 don't know right and wrong and im sure that'' hold up in court. which in a way kind of goes against my "what kind of world is this statement", now im just confused
the two sites are the same thing! look at their FAQs, exact copy!
thus, they are probly crap
None the less, those are some awesome prices on Laptops.
just a REALLY bad typo.........?!?Quote:

Oh, and btw, although they might just be the way they handle info for their sites, but it doesnt look like they are recieving any info that you input, look at a copy of part of the source page.
<p align="center"><input type="submit" name="to" value="Submit Order">
<input type="hidden" name="id" value="2628">
<input type="hidden" name="to" value="">
<input type="hidden" name="subject" value="Order done">
<input type="hidden" name="redirect" value="http://www.profitfacility.com/ordering3.htm">
Your automatically redirected to the order done page, even though you can go there on your own anyway by typing n the URL, and it doesnt look like it goes through a server for the info you send, just by clicking the button you move onto the next page.
oh shit is that a legit site? or a scam?Quote:

heres my revised theroy, i think so many people fuss over to be a scam or not, that no one buys and that some people actually buy get a great deal and eventually people buy like crazy the prices rise because they can and eventually they go up to market price at which point and underground site starts selling them super cheap, i call it "The Cycle of Cheap Laptops"
oh shit is that a legit site? or a scam?
Quote:

my friend got a lot/pallet of computers, they didn't rip him off
its like a police auction site, pretty good prices B)
They have a paintball gun set i want, but... its untested. So i dont know if its messed up =/
they got it from some kids who they areasted:lol:
well i put in a real email address in the ordering page. just my email. everyting was blank. im just now waiting for them to send me the payment info. ill tell you guys what happens.
Did a search on google and there a guy who spammed a few forums saying it's a scam.
But you only have to use common sense to know it's a scam.
These scams are common on the internet but people never learn.
If it's too good to be true then it usally is ;)
@ junkyardking
was the forum talk notebooks thats where i got it from
it says that theyre part of "www.internetpreventionservices.com"
i still believe them. anyone else got sites like these?
p.s.: dont you think they would sell desktops too if they were doing a scam? all they sell is notebooks and cell phones. oh yeah: they do have that one G5
just make sure you document everything you do with the site very well and have the product checked for qaulity if you think it is faked by a qaulitfied person and have them say what the computer is etc... (best buy will do this for under 60) and then sue them for the price your time, and all other fees... if you do it smart even if they scam you, you can still get them back... just think smart!
:huh: has anyone bought anything off their yet?
my friend bought from stealitback, can't vouch for the other site
i think im gonna seriouslky look into it. do you think i should email the site to my dad as a christmas idea?
i will look into stealitback.com
stealitback has cracp stuff for computers, they have some good cdplayers and a nice paintball gun, its all old crap. The best thing they have is a 800mhz, 9GB laptop.
hahaha i havent looked into it yet. ive been busy but i'll do it now
yo whats up with all the toshiba sattleites? all of these computers suck. i would expect criminals would have Dells or Sony laptops
