Asus P4P8X Has Daul Channel memory and other good features. Asus is one of, if not the most, highly respected manufactuers for motherboards.

Michigan, why?
Well, obviously, where you live will be a factor in deciding who can assemble the unit for you.Quote:

If you are in/near a larger city then you should have lots of options.
My brother lives in Traverse City, btw.

I meant the bottom of Michigan, and it doesnt smell too bad.
seriously, can anyone reccomend a computer case, motherboard, or a graphics card all together a $500 budget.
Asus P4P800 Here is the best Asus mobo there is, and it comes with a lot of awesome features for future technology. Ex: RAID, SATA, and Wireless Lan. $150 GeForce 5700 Ultra This card impresses me. It runs faster then a 5900 non ultra. 475Mhz Core Clock, and 900Mhz memory clock. This card is VERY nice and will last for a long time! $250 Antec case Antec supposedly makes nice cases, and this one looks nice to me. $80 Brings your total to $480 and this system will last you a pretty long time.
Thanx for the research.Quote:

i got my asylum 5700 ultra for 50 bucks LESS! and that was from BEST BUY! and thats NOT INCLUDING THE REBATES!!!
u could get an evga 5700 ultra, and its probly better, as it comes with ddr2 ram
but for absolute sexiness, you must have a pcb color whicn isnt brown or green or yellow
the white PCBs, the blue PCBs, and the red PCBs are all rather hot (as in awesome looking)
however, i havent seen a red or white PCB on a 5700 ultra so far
what the FUCK!?!Quote:

yes, newegg should do the trick, but if you want asylum that badly, search pricewatch.com for "asylum 5700 ultra"
direct link to cheapest asylum card here
they lied: retail is not 499, so that might make you reluctant enough. if ur ok with mail in rebates, goto BestBuy.com
