How about using a smart registry cleaner. Check the values and path before deleting the keys.

Check the board FAQ for instructions on how to remove spyware (KMD). Do not delete registry entries unless you know what you're doing.

ok... does ne body know any good (safe) programs that delete all unnecessary entries?
A lot of people use system mechanic pro.
System mechanic is a good tool. There are many out there such as regcleaner etc.
Go to webattack.com and search for "Clean up registry" or "fix registry." Or just search on google and if you find a good one just search its name on kazaa. Fosi might have it i havent checked.
Don't delete the entries just like that. You may never know which entries are linked. So dont do anything with registry unless you really know what you are doing.
I suggest using ace utilities, you can get a trial version of it at http://download.com
I like Reg Seeker.
Search K-Lite for Ultra WinCleaner 2002.
- Removes temp junk
- Removes invalid registry items
- And more stuff
- No need to install, just open and run
- Only 924KB
No doubt. Use registry cleaning software. This way you can back up your registry first and also identify any associations.
Just deleting registry keys without fully understanding them can lead to a full harddrive format and O/S reinstall.
I would normally recommend RegCleaner but sadly it is no longer free.
good luck

morph use registry mechanic, its easy as hell and pretty safe, if you don't know what you are doing don't mess with your registry, and always before you make anychanges to registry back it up
anyway if you run registry mechanic that should get rid of it for you
