Is it giving any specific error messages? Post it here if it is.
Are you trying open them through a shortcut? The shortcut maynot be pointing to the file. Try going to c:\program files and then go to opera or trillian directory and open up the exe file.
Have you tried reinstalling them both?
My Whole Computers Acting Weird...How Do I Go About Formatting It? What Would I Need? i Triedd System Restore And It Said Nothing's Changed Since the Date I Selected When I Know For A Fact That It Has
looks like a possible virus to me. go download nod32 anti virus (pauls version) and scan with that.
to format a pc, you need to:
1) back up all important data
2) find your windows cd (if its a pre win 2k os you will need a bootdisk)
3) format your hadrive via a bootdisk (format c:) or via the xp/2k cd
4) install your os
5) install your drivers
6) install everything else
7) your done :)
I Don't Have A Windows CD My PC Is HP They Dont Give You One If I'm Not Mistaken They Just Let You Rely On System Restore  I'll Try nod32 :)
did you get a restore cd or anything of that sort?
no :( none of the lniks to nod32 work or is it just my f*cked up pc?
If you bought a pc with Windows installed, then HP should have given you at least an OEM copy. If not, get in touch with them. You bought a pc with an OS, so you are entitled to a copy in case you need to reinstall.Quote:

There's bugs in the last couple of Opera releases. It calls a process that sometimes refuses to start.
If you check task manager, you'll see it trying to run. It may be cycling rapidly even.
csrss.exe is the one to look for. If it's pulsing, then Opera is loaded.
I've played with priority on it and got it to load faster but at the expense of system stability.
If I ignore it, Opera will sometimes open on it's own 5 or 10 minutes later.
I'm guessing this csrss.exe is already in use and doesn't want to be shared ????
that lnik doesnt work on my computer doesd it work for you?
the link works, thats why i posted it :lol:Quote:

http://server4.uploadit.org/files/041203-hprecovery.GIF
yes that will help ;)
Edit: you name is very true
wait no it wont :( i cliked it its about a partition :P
Thats your recovery partition. I have that to, its what it burned onto the CD's. Try going to "C:\Windows\CREATOR\" and if you have that, you might have the program "CD Creator.exe", thats the program it used to burn it.Quote:

yep i have that
when i do this what do i need to do then do you have a step by step guide?
would i still need all drivers etc?
Just follow the instructions it says. You will need at least 8 CD's, mine used that many, but my recovery partition is 5 GB.
You can only make one set of CDs, so dont loose them
i have a total of 4 cds
what exactly does this do?
