the concept of vcdquality? man i think you need to start reading your own words.
ok since you seem to be some "important" part of vcdquality...shall you explain what is up?
btw....if something isnt in vcdquality it doesnt mean its not out...NOOB
if its not on vcdquality it doesnt i mean its not real. VCD quality doesnt show a lot of stuff that is released

The DVD rip by TCF was nuked for bad aspect ratio. It was tagged incorrectly. It was not a DVD rip, but a cropped TS.

exactly
some of you guys need to figure out the difference between Telecine and TeleSync, because you sound all un-knowledgable when you type about things that you don't know anything about.
http://www.afterdawn.com/glossary/terms/telecine.cfm
http://www.afterdawn.com/glossary/terms/telesync.cfmQuote:
This term has two descriptions:
1) As movies are normally shot using 24.00fps framerate and American TV system, NTSC, uses framerate of 29.97fps, movie framerates need to be changed in order to get them play smoothly on TV.
This process, where studios add additional frames to the picture in order to increase the framerate, is called telecine. Process where various video editing tools reverse this process is called inverse telecine.
Technical details will be added later on.
2) Telecine also means a method to make an illegal bootleg copy of an original movie. Telecine method can be done in various ways, but normally it includes process where the movie is taken directly from the reel to digital format and then encoded into VCD, SVCD or DivX format. Other bootleg methods include Telesync, Screener, Cam and DVD-Rip.
Quote:
One of the multiple terms used by movie pirates to describe the source material that was used to make a bootlegged pirate copy, normally distributed in VideoCD, SVCD or DivX format.
Precisely Telesync means a copy which was shot in an empty cinema or from the projection booth with a professional camera, directly connected to the sound source.
Other bootleg version methods include Telecine, Screener, Cam and DVD-Rip.
whats ts and tc gotta do something here?
I think i no what i am on about.Quote:

here's a pic i saw on another forum, comparing the new so-called "screener" with the old workprint. the new version is cropped significantly, as you can see. BUT it is still fairly watchable, and the image/sound quality are the best i've seen so far on a kill bill vol. 1 rip.Quote:

on one hand, part of the picture is missing. on the other hand, it is a good-looking telecine transfer and the color & sound are much better than earlier rips.

im waiting for retail to buy i already have it preorderd at www.movietyme.com its going to be shipped 20/10/04 (jan 20, 04). can wait for it :D
I have the workprint and the quality is DVD but the bad crop chops off the top of heads and cuts off the subtitles, especially when 2 lines of subtitles are displayed. Also, it's the edited version where the bloody scenes are displayed in black and white. I got it using eMule.Quote:
