There has been several topics about download speeds but I would like to know what your upload speeds are.
I only have an upload speed of 128kb/ps (16kB/ps), what is yours?

:o Mine is between 3-10 KBps most of the time...sometimes people will get up to around 20 from me....like I said...sometimes.I now know that I have the slowest DSL in the world...I would almost make a bet on it.I pay $45 a month...for what...going back to 56k...will save me $35 a month for more beer.
i can get about 30kbps if im lucky.
<_< Yeah and your on 56k I bet.56kers beat me on my DSL...what a joke Bellsouth is.Quote:

I get about 10 KB/ps.
256Kbps speeds and believe me with kazaa and my ftp running it is all hogged up
Razz
Doesn't "ps" stand for per second?!Quote:

and "/" also stands for per.
That would mean 10 KB per per second. That would be incorrect?!
edit typo

Yeah, it's 128Kb and not 128KB.
:D I got carried away with the caps! :D
I upload at about 35k/sec.
my upload maximum is 768 kbps. far too slow. i wish it was as fast as my download 2500kbps. hell i wish i had a 100 Mbit connection both ways! but don't we all?!! :D
Is 100MB, The fastest, cuz that's what i got :D
100 MB, right -_-Quote:

100mb/millisecond? 100mb/Second? 100mb/minute? 100mb/Hour? 100mb/Day? 100mb/Week? 100mb/Month? 100mb/Year? 100mb/Decade? 100mb/Century? 100mb/Millenium? 100mb/The time it takes me to take a dump, smoke a cigarette, chase a beer and eat a cheeseburger (all at the same time)?
---------------------
People upload at a maximum of 15.00kb/s from me. It doesn't matter how many people upload from me. That 15.00kb/s ends up being divided between the users. For example, if 15 users upload at the same time, then each one will only get 1.00kb/s from me.
Meanwhile, it has no affect (or impaired speed) on my downloading at all. I'll still get the 85.00kb/s that I rarely get on KaZaALite. The only impaired speed I get is from downloading a file from a user(s) who have a slow connection.

Downloading a complete movie in 8 seconds!
200kb/s, by the way.
My ISP provides 3Mb/s, so that's my goal. :)
My bad i was trying to say 100 mbps
hey this might make a good sig...

100 MB/s is fastest CAPABLE speed. Actual speeds are no where near that. When I had cable, it connected @ 10 but I never got anything about 3.5. I dont even think OC can reach that.
That must suck..use your registry editor.Quote:

who in here beat my connection......its OC-192 9953 Mbps...also if anyone is interested in web space....just leave a message
heres a bandwidth test probably only for US but whatever if your really want to see how fast it is take one of these tests http://www.dslreports.com/stest because mine says 100mbs too...thats max what it can theoretically take but it wont, lemme guess its plugged into a NIC right? i only get 1.5mbsdown 128Kbps up thats what my ISP limits it too...... and how did you get oc-192?
here it is, 100mbps is the network speed. If you had a network that is how fast you possible can transmit data. So when your 3.5mpbs internet comes threw, its only 3.5mbps. If you lets say had a 12mbps, you could only go at 10mbps. Thats all that it means.
I currently have 3 dls going and 1 ul going
dls:
1st@138Kb/s
2nd@10Kb/s
3rd@5Kb/s
ul:
11Kb/s
Is this good?
The bits and bytes i understand(1byte=8bits), but what does Kb, kB, KB, mB, Mb, and MB stand for? which is byte and bit? or do people just type whatever they like and call it whichever they want...lol
I have an OC3...
HA HA HA HA
I have the same kind of speed dude. wish i could got that higher than that though like a gig per second. that would be cool.Quote:

And the winner is... ugluk, with 768kb/ps (96kB/ps). I wish I had that. But I would still have this problem.Quote:

Xyrex read the post above yours a little more carefully. 100 MBPS
That window is displaying your network speed not your internet provider speed.Quote:

And we all know that the highest number that exists is 1,000,000,000,000. It's a proven fact, and any drunk can prove that!
