You wont really have much of a chance running the current generation of games, but running oldies like half life and such shouldnt be too much of a problem.
games designed for win95 must work
You can get a FX 5200 64MB for $40 American ... my friend just bought one.
he said mobility radeon. so it's on a laptopQuote:

I didnt know they had different cards for laptops
I dont know much about graphics cards for laptops as ive never needed one, but my guess is that they need to be made smaller and shaped differently.
unreal tourny the first one has free online play without a cd key and astill has alot of playeras and will run v. well oon ur pc
Snes, Sega, GBA, GB, Nes, Atari emulators plus roms.
I used an old 300mhz 12mb graphics machine for roms and emulation and it worked pretty good with those game types mentioned above.
max payne runs perfectly on 11mb of vd card space. so does jedi knight 2 outcast
I agree with the original Unreal Tournament. I'm sure starcraft would work too. And maybe Counter Strike? I'm sure not sure about CS but the graphics aren't the greatest
cs is just using the half life engine rite(i dont play cs btw so im just guessing) ell half life played perfectly on my old mans p2 230mhz 4mb gfx card with 128mb's of ram, starcraft will run easly as well. comand and conqure and the orignal half lifes. get max payne some of the mods fo tha are bitchin. driver is a v. gd game IMHO.Quote:

I ahve a voodoo 3 with only 16 mb, ur best bet is games like tehy mentioned half life, unreal, jedi outcast works supringly well, and especially starcraft and strategy games like that as opposed to rpg's that require alot of graphics and ram
I agree most with this. Aslong as you let yourself get into games, you can keep yourself busy for a long time. However...I have the bad habit of picking a game, getting bored after 30 seconds and trying to find another one :PQuote:

cs works great on my old hp, which had 11mb of shared mem. so did diablo 2 and so on. warcraft 3 worked great on it too.Quote:
