what u mean which server?
what are you trying to do with smart ftp?
share files over the interent, u need to have an address like ftp.angelfire.com or ftp.geocities.com/username etc. do their limits count or not? (e.g their bandwidth limits) Is there a way to make HFS the server?
bullet proof ftp server is what you need & should be a guide in the mirc section ;)
yea HFS works as a server...really easy to set up...and the address of your server would be your ip address....
btw, geocities doesnt allow ftp access anymore...you have to upload all your files through browser
BulletProof didn't work for me
thats an FTP server...while HFS is an HTTP server.... easier to use, by the way...

i'm not sure, now it seems that i can't connect to an ftp with smart ftp.
Can anyone get to ftp://ftp.angelfire.com ?
u dont post that
if its from your own pc it will be ftp://then your ip
this is what angelfire told me to do. As I can't create any FTP's i think it's my ISP stopping me. What do u think?
user error
isps dont stop u
it will be something like ftp://angelfire.com/usename
still get an error on ftp://angelfire.com/pro/browser
I use BulletProof too. Probably the best out there at present :)
Very easy to use too. Instructions come as standard. No airbag though :(

if you use iexplorer you have to go to "internetoptions" and enable "folder for ftp sites" -
and if you are behind a firewall you have to enable passiv ftp.
i do not know how it is written in the menu in english, cause i use german.
the best is to go to the ftp_server with a realy ftp_client like flashfxp or others ...
