I just got high speed but whenever i connect emule through the default port or any port, i always get a message that the selected port is not reachable. Sometimes it does connect but i get a low id.

Xp with the XP firewall? get rid of it and try again
Xp firewall is disabled. I use Zonealarm. Bittorent aint working either.Quote:

tried it without the firewall?
I have dont that too, it doesnt work no matter what i try. I always get a Low ID if E-mule connects. Most of the time the connection doesnt go through.Quote:

could you get a high id before? do you use a router or on a lan?
maybe your computer is busy doing something else, it makes it difficult to connect properly to servers.
No, i am not on a router or lan. I used to get a High ID when i was on dial up but now on high speed,i get a Low ID
have you tried with a different version of emule.
-enable safe connect if you havent already.
Is there anything you changed that is different?.
Could it be an ISP issue, they may have blocked the ports?

I enabled the safe connect option.

I was actually trying to say smart lowID and not safe connect haha :lol:
