how bout adding a mini forum devoted ENTIRELY to all graphics issues/questions/braggs

there are way 2 many gfx Qs being started in Hardware world.
whats ur take?

i don't really see that as a good reason to make a new sub-forum, just means i'll have to do more clicking just to see graphics card related topics

And people will keep posting about graphics cards in the main part of HardwareWorld. Then need moving. <_<

I still don't see what the fasination is lately with those cards. :unsure:

It's because the latest and greatest games need a good card to run at 1024x768 with the highest detail levels :rolleyes:

I don't think a subsection is necessary yet; we're not exactly inundated here.

Well, a bit of 'off-topic' is permissable. Just so long as the thread as a whole returns to topic, that's OK.

As I said, I don't think we need a graphics subsection because there simply isn't enough demand. Does anyone dispute that?

I just brought up WinAMP because of all the Threads in Software World lately.

Did not want to start another Thread about Sub Forums so thought would try to turn this one into a suggestions Thread.Sorry. :)

As FC mentioned, there are a lot of topical subjects for all the worlds - for example, Softwareworld has WinAMP 5, MovieWorld has things like The Matrix, HardwareWorld has graphics cards.

They don't all need subforums; generally a pinned thread suffices if the need is great.

Does anyone feel like writing a comprehensive, impartial graphics card guide?

i'll guess that the fatest innovations atm are with videocards, think therefor there are so much Q's about it atm. Think exactly the same thing you will see in all the worlds, if a new movie is going to be released you see more topics about that, same goes for software (see winamp 5...), guess that if yo gonna make new forums for all that is "hot" we get a lot more subforums... ;)
