i gonna get 700 usd in 2 months and im willing to spend 200 on upgrading...saving the rest for a car once i get my license in 6 months

should i get

9600xt

dvd burner

80 gig hdd

currently i have a mx440 that still play halo fine at med setting on 800x600

yea save the money for the car... by that time an ATI 9800 Pro 256 will probably cost the same as a 9600xt :-)

but 200 isnt going to make a big difference in when i can get my car.....anybody heard of a car called "daewoo" ? been shopping around and i can get a 2001 model for 7k :blink:

thats whats bug me, its only 7k w/ power everything...im scared of getting generic stuff for my comps.....so im a wee bit...just a "wee bit" scared about this car.....but this is gonna be my first car so it wouldnt really matter how shitty this is. :lol:

Lol I dont like Daewoo or KIA at ALL! KIA IS LIKE SOME POS UGH! Daewoo seems alright tho ecspecially for a first car. Im in the progress of looking for a new car. Why dont u just buy a used mustang for like 8K or something..Or a nice Pontiac grand am... you can get them cheap used man..

i would buy a used mustang at 8k if i can one.....well one that deostn have 100k or near 100k of milage on it. but the daewoo car look so nice.

lol umm my parents had bought me a 2001 red mustang with 40,000 for 8,500. WHAT? where do you live? all the used mustang here (Minnesota.....go timberwolve) have a lot of milage on them and the price aint so cheap

Yeah we all know that that is not his car. I live in Tyler, Texas and everyone here has like hummers, subburbans, excursions, escalades, big jacked up chevys, and vettes B) lol But that daewoo car looks soo freaking ugly and underpowered to me

it'd be good for a first car, there is a land rover range rover for 3850,has like 15000 on it, but hey its a range rover

If this is your first car and your getting your lic. in 6 mo. I would get a junker for a year at lest till you learn how to drive :D . Nothing against you but you will make mistakes..... Or some one will make them in your car....

thats y im planning on getting the daewoo...its cheap, and its at least ok looking

@dawg....i like the car, im looking for hatchback....like a mazda prodige (thats not spelled right) 5...easier to do parrallel park during test and i heard its cheap on gas too. :D

@moose, it was about hardware until i mention my car buying issue, then....hehe

ummm maybe tiger direct has the price jacked up? maybe the 9600 is better? have you tried shopping around?
