what way do you want to transfer the video? in a cd for him to see in his computer or a vhs video?
:huh: I just want to record my desktop like if i opened a window or somthing i could record it then save it to maybe a .mpg file or .avi
if im not wrong..i think you can use Snag-It for that....

Ahhh man know i want a prog that also records games as you play them so i can make a movie from motocross madness 2 like take cool jump scenes and put them together and add music after. :D
Can someone tell me a prgram that lets me record gameplay :) Ive tried camtasia and it works but it makes my computer lag like hell! :(

BTW yea fraps is a really good alternative when you are making gaming videos....however recording any type of video with a game that requires "some" ram, your computer can and probably WILL go slow..

another way you can make a tutorial to do things, is a animated gif file.
would it be possible to get a graphics card with tv-out then record it to video and then use a tv card to record it back on to the pc then edit it or save as mpeg or whatever you plan to do?
