i want that proggy, were can i get it?
Haha, stupid AMD. I knew people would do it.
nice find john.... i was looking at amdmb but missed that hehe.... oh well....
2 bad not 2 much ppl are trying these <_<
Sounds like I should try to connect that....All you do is connect the 2nd bridge from the bottom on the L6 bridge with some silver paint? doesnt sound too hard. Although I have good ram so I can prob overclock pretty good without the multiplier.
How does this make them stupid?Quote:

Don't you think that AMD was aware that people would come up with a workaround?
They are playing the game the same as we are.
How many people OC their computers anyway?
My (generous) estimate would be maybe 1-2%.
Just look at the number of posters in here who don't even know how to access BIOS.
A few days ago while in CompUSA, I asked a salesman how many of the new 64bit 3200's they had sold. Three in the last month was his guess.
If AMD's declared policy of "locking" all the chips except the bigdawg FX-51 helps them to sell a few more, then they are making out like bandits.
hehe true....
so i guess bigdawg is in his way to more oc'ing? :D
I duno im just going to test everything and make sure its all good right now 185X11. Then I will go to 200X11, and I can go over that with my ram probably. my temps are 38Full Load with 185X11 (2.04Ghz)
Edit: damn im still not done with folding my first protein thing, 80%...this sucker must be HUGE. Ive had it on for a day and a half! lol
Tell me about it, I had a WU (work unit) going at about 10 mins a frame last night, but it crashed, because of my crazy overclocking setts (had it at 2377Mhz) Now I hae it going again at 2206, And its taking 25 mins a frame!!! Argh.Quote:

I dont think hes trying to get this pinned, but it might be good to keep it pinned at least for a little while. It is very good, but if someone wants to know how to do it they can just search google.Quote:

Yeah for real...listen to mr 38 post per day. HAHAHA just playin
um  how do you check bios?!
Usually when you first turn on your computer it should tell you. Delete or F2 are common buttons to get you into the bios. You should press them right after you turn your computer on.
Its 37.8 so STFU    :lol:Quote:

how important is it?
If you dont know what it is then its not important to you lol. Dont worry about it, its just a way to change settings of your computer.
bullsh*t.... dont say this.... everyone should learn about their bios even if "its not important" to them.... the hell...its REALLY important when it comes to tuning up ur computer (cough, oc'ing)..... and doing other tasks such as boot order, temp checking, etc....Quote:

For one, I like to buy from newegg, their customer reviews rock. Just go to their 1800+ for sale, and check the reviews, see what people are overclocking their's too. Look for the more recent ones though, like the 1st review ever for the 1800+ is probably not going to be the same stepping of the 1800+ that you could buy now.
k, I'll put it on my biz account, as i always do :lol:Quote:
