Kmd Lite 2.6

Special features:

- It can update old Kazaa Lite versions (2.0.2 to 2.4.3)
- It is a legal build, but can easily be modded to a 'full' version.

get k-lite v2.6, its better than this as it includes all the things you need to run kazaa (including the things error has mentioned), just be sure to tick the option "download and install kmd (and remove uneeded componants)

Is&#39;nt that full of spyware and stuff that can ruin the computer?

Or is it different with Lite as with normal Kazaa++ Lite?

i seriously doubt this build will replace Kazaa Lite K++, as it cannot include some of the main features it wants to atm for legal reasons :rolleyes:

It works in the following way:

* The installer installs some tools and registry keys (no add/spyware&#33;)
* You then need to (illegally may i add) download khancer.exe (which btw is made by FTFakes, who supports the making of another kmd 2.6 based package... K-Lite v2.6)
* You then need Kazaa.exe from kmd 2.6 (which nsane make kindly avalible)

And Then it (should) work, like a kazaa lite k++ build

Error403, for some reason, decided to build this legal package.

It follows the same concept of k-lite v2.6, which has been around for a while now... its the successor to kazaa #klchat build, which is the longest running kmd 2.6 clean build. The k-lite v2.6 build is better for various reasons. Heres a list of advantages:

* It includes all the options to make kmd 2.6 work 100%
* The khancer.exe is made by us, so is not needed illegally&#33;
* Its been around longer - so has been tested more

Error403, this looks like a nice thing. But I&#39;m just to lazy to download a file here, then another here, and oh yeah, one more here. Just to get kazaa to be spyware free. I rather stick with KLChat build with just one .exe to download.

Well the only REAL difference (besides small details) between K-Lite and KMD lite is the following:

K-Lite allows you to download Kazaa, install it, and then clean it. That&#39;s how it gets the kazaa.exe file.
The advantage of that is that you don&#39;t have to find kazaa.exe yourself. The disadvantage is that you have to download an additional 7 MB and hope that all adware gets removed properly. If Sharman ads new adware or worse updates kazaa.exe then this K-Lite might stop working properly.

KMD Lite just expects you to get kazaa.exe yourself. Additionally it provides an installscript which can turn it in a fully functional build like the old Kazaa Lite versions were. But someone else have to do that, since I am not gonna make such a full build.

But having two different builds is not a bad thing. It already has resulted in improvements in both builds.

well i think what makes it illegal for Error403 is FTFakes made it for K-Lite 2.6, not for it to be distributed with error&#39;s version

and Sharman can&#39;t say shit neither version includes Kazaa.exe or Magnet.exe

@Error403, i still think you suck :mad3:, why run around trying to steal the spot light with Clean KMD & KMD Lite?, why not just help some how with K-Lite?

The install script has the function to add kazaa.exe and khancer. after you have them and compile the script it will work just like a regular version

wheels its very simple, download inno setup and install, download IStool, install, download 7-Zip and install, after add the files kazaa.exe and khancer.exe to the same loacation as BOTH the script and the installer you downloaded earlier and then press ONE button to compile it.

I really dont see the point the the compiling method though.. as you need all the files to begin with :blink:

then why did you illegaly upload it? why not just add it to the install call it "Error&#39;s Jealous of K-Lite"?

@marke - K-Lite v2.6 is better than Error&#39;s crappy install, where you have to download like 3 other files illegally i might add...

Both clients are RCs... I&#39;ll wait for a full version...
