I only drink (and get totally toasted) when:
I'm not going to drive for awhile
I'm in a social situation
I'm not going to work the next day
I did have a couple beers though before the Georgetown game at the MCI Center though and had to go to work today so sometimes there are very minor exceptions.
If I'm at a cookout on a Saturday, I'd drink anyone under the table.

If by being an alchoholic you mean you dont go through one day of the week without drinking any alchohol because you cant or you feel worse if you try, then yepp - it sux :(
On the other hand i dont get drunk more than about once a month... does that make me a n00b then? B)

It also is an important cause of chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases, like emphysema, and greatly increases the risk of heart disease and stroke. Any conditions for which tobacco use seems to provide a health benefit are either uncommon or are rarely fatal." The report also cites health risks from the use of smokeless tobacco products, passive smoking, and the use of cigars and pipes.
The report recommends that the differing effects of tobacco products and alcoholic beverages on health be considered when policy makers evaluate regulatory and educational approaches to the use of these substances.
