Panthers all the way. Jake Delhomme is from my home town and went to college right down the road from where I live.

I think that the Patriots are a hell of a team and have an incredible defense but I think that they are just due for a loss. I just hope the Carolina can be the team to give them that loss.

the panthers have been the underdogs all year, at least to the media anyways.
its time for people to realize the panthers arent a joke. we are going all the way!

My team did not make it to the Super Bowl. :sad1: They lost yesterday in the NFC Championship game.
However, life goes on and I have accepted the disappointment of that final score.
What seemed like a bad dream yesterday is, of course, stark reality today.

Only NFL fans know the passion they feel about pulling for their favorite team and so, in my time of joyous anticipation of my team winning, I had prepared a short poem celebrating the teams, players and the upcoming Super Bowl.

Instead of it lying waste in my files, having made a few revisions, I&#39;d like to share it with you now:

Blood on the Field

There&#39;s blood on the field, many egos lay bruised...
the victors stand tall, the defeated bemused...
It&#39;s now known so clearly, yes now that it&#39;s done...
two teams on that Sunday...
Will decide NUMBER ONE.

For Panthers and Pats fans, their wins were so sweet,
now two weeks hard work, then finally...they&#39;ll meet...
These men of great strength, true warriors tall,
will joust on that field, in quest of it all...
Then the envy of most, whomsoever they be,
will raise up and shout , "Oh sweet....VICTORY&#33;"

It&#39;s finally arrived, that time&#39;s getting near,
what all who love football have always held dear...
Yes, the season was long, entertaining, not less,
now just one of two teams, gets to finally express...
These words of achievement from one of the camps,
"we did it, we&#39;ve won&#33;
....yes, we&#39;re...SUPER BOWL CHAMPS&#33;"
