When they first tried out jet fighter aircraft it was a common occurence for aircraft to overtake the bullets, then when they slowed down a bit they were shot in the tail. They then had to start using the cannon type ammunition that went faster than the aircraft.Quote:

i know there used to be planes that would shoot itself down because the gun was placed in back of the propellar so when they shot off the gun it would shoot the wing so next they invented a gun that would be placed on top of the wing but then pilots lost control of the planes while reloading so finally someone built a syatem which would prevent the gun from fireing when the blade of the propellar spun in front of the barrel of the gun
