Calpol is flavoured, syrup-ey, paracetamol - mums give it to kids to stop them whining about how ill they feel
back to the original question - you overdosed on painkillers basically, there's usually advice on the packaging (it should also say don't take more that the stated dose), something like consult your doctor
this may be of some concern to you: http://www.medicinenet.com/script/main/art...rticleKey=23997
and here's some paracetamol overdose related mortality rates: http://www.pharmweb.net/pwmirror/pwy/parac...mwebpicodm.html
and here's some useful(?) facts about paracetamol overdose (symptons, treatment and such): http://www.pharmweb.net/pwmirror/pwy/parac...armwebpic9.html
It's basically a form of paracetamol for babies and toddlers - a 18month toddler can have 2 spoon fulls so unless you're less than 3times the size and bodyweight of a 18mnth you are in the clear :)Quote:

The active ingrediant is paracetamol so you probably had the equivalent of 1
On a level of worry:
You had 6 spoonsfuls! 0/10
Why did you take it all? 4/10
Was it just for the taste? 6/10
Why have you got it? 8/10
Do you have kids? 8/10
Are you currently drinking down your 7th bottle as you read this? 7/10
Have you not had any but posted this topic as a matter of interest? 10/10
