A lot of us run personal websites good or bad, nice or ugly  Why don't we get together and make a huge, kick ass P2P site or Kazaa Lite site ? Something like Zeropaid UTC or Slyck ? B)

Not a bad idea but most of them are already running and work pretty good. or do you have nice new original ideas?
Why stick around p2p, how about something original :)
Count me in.
If you want , probably don't.
i donno i personally like hosting files
It could possibly be a good idea, however, if their is 5+ owners of the site, one of them are likely to get power hungery and just bring the site down with it..
i donno about that well it better not happen :angry:Quote:

Let's say that one admin has control over the domain, one the hosting, one with programming, one with web design.. if they got into a argument and started threating each other, inevitably it could happen...
eh if it came down to that then i would just back out
thats why you dont choose naive one's to handle it. There are always criterias for joining and each person's wavelength has to match unless you are a genius so your snobbishness can be tolerated.
In any case, its not a random pick.
Even the best of friends get into fights every once in a while.. :rolleyes:Quote:

That's a good idea, and I really like Nightstalker's suggestion.

I'd definately be interested... although there would be many hurdles to jump.
On another note, if anyone uses ShareReactor frequently they'll know that it runs as slows as somene downloading movies from a 28.8 :smilie4:
Well late last year, the owner put a donation box on the main page and asked for anything people could give. He had a huge response, although only 0.05% of the total users contributed, his target of $8000 to build a better server was shadowed by almost $9000 in donations. It turns out however that nothing has come off this money. If you do read any of the posts regarding this, people are plenty pissed. Some users donated over $150 and it looks like nothings come off it.
If you have patience to load up the appropriate forum can be located here. The thread is at the top right hand side, saying something about 'Status'.
