Lets start with the vampire. Dont believe in them.
A Slavic superstition of bloodsucking creatures supposedly the restless souls of criminals, suicides and heretics. Who leave their burial place in the dead of the night, often in the form of a bat. attacking humans and drinking their blood.
My opinion. An overelaborated excuse for love bites.

I'll answer any questions you might have B)
No thanks, i'd like my Truth out there.Quote:

Ghosts. Dont belive in them.
The soul or spectre of a dead person appearing as a living being or as a nebulous likeness of a deceased person. Probably derives from the belief that the soul separates from the body at death. A poltergeist is the above, being of a disruptive spirit.
Me. I think it is all in the mind.
Are you going to be able to sleep tonight Azzz?
:rolleyes:Quote:

What do you mean by supernatural? and what do you want to know or you just want some interesting things to read....
I have alot of personal opinions on things like these of which i won't go into but if you look at most religious texts they all provide some explanations for demons and ghouls and so on... personaly i side with many of the chinese ideas derived from buddhist and taoist traditions.
In china there used to be people who would fight demons by using mantras on a piece of paper and sticking to the top of their head which would place the demon under their control.... i have no direct experience of this one though.
Afterlife. The belief that we will return as another life form.
A new or continued existance or transformed existence after death. This belief has been with man in all cultures since the beginning of civilization.
Me. I have a slight belief in this. I think that there are the same amount of living beings on earth at any given time. What will I come back us. hopefully a human being.
Vampires- Origin is from a genetic disorder called porphyria. These people cannot form functional "hemoglobin" very efficiently due to an enzyme deficiency, therefore, these people are very anemic or pale.
Also, there is a build up of a hemoglobin precursor that actually becomes active when exposed to sunlight. This active molecule can induce severe physical pain and eventual scarring of the skin. Thus these people scream when exposed to the sun and prefer noctural activity.
It can also cause intermittent insanity.
Ghosts- We tend to see what our minds are afraid of seeing. Ever drive down the road and see that black thing lying motionless in the road ahead. We all think of our pets and think we are seeing a dead cat or dog. Then, once we get there, we see that the shape we thought was animal to be a shard of rubber from a worn tire. Usually with ghost sightings we only get that immediate "fear driven "flash" image and there is no time to observe the situation in detail as the "ghost" has gone.
Afterlife- why I drink, don't believe in it
Big Bang- ejaculation.
The Big Bang.
The thory that the present universe started off with a giant gas explosion. That the universe is continually expanding because of that explosion.
Me. Another theory will come along in a couple of years. :)
my personal views CHAPTER 1 GHOSTS
all my life i have believed in ghosts, i swear i seen one once but no-one believes me, i suppose it is good to believe that dead people are still around us as energy.
CHAPTER 2 VAMPIRES
I do not believe in these creatures at all, there is no proof wotsoever,
CHAPTER 3 THE BEGINNING OF TIME
this has beeen a concept that has always fascinated me, i do not believe in god i blieve the world was created by chance in some sort of accident and life was created by a chemical reaction in space.
CHAPTER 4 AFTERLIFE
i have always believed that when you die, you slip into another dimension, which is similar to earth, but without the struglles of war etc
so there you have it a small book of info :)
Who is going to tuck you in tonight Azzz?
Azz,
See my post on Vampires above, that case is rather closed.
BTW, I forgot to add that the treatment of porphyria is "human blood transfusions".
wot about reincarnation then?
or the devils face that came out of the smoke when the planes hit the twin towers
What about the dragon in the clouds? Tricks of the mind, you see what you want to see.Quote:

The smoke? You can see pictures of people in almost anything if you study it long enough.

REINCARNATION
The concept of reincarnation seems to offer one of the most attractive explanations of man’s origin and destiny. Reincarnation seems to give hope for continuing one’s existence in further lives and thus having a better chance to attain liberation. This is a source of great comfort, especially for those who seek liberation on the exclusive basis of their inner resources. On the other hand, reincarnation is a way of rejecting the Christian teaching of the soul’s final judgment by a holy God, with the possible result of being eternally condemned to suffer in hell. Another major reason for accepting reincarnation by so many people today is the fact that it allegedly explains the differences that exist between people. Some are healthy, others are tormented their whole life by physical handicaps. Some are rich, others at the brink of starvation. Some have success without being religious; others are constant losers, despite their religious dedication. Eastern religions explain these differences as a result of previous lives, good or bad, which bear their fruits into the present one through the action of karma. Therefore reincarnation seems to be a perfect way of punishing or rewarding one’s deeds, without the need of accepting a personal God as Ultimate Reality.
